then how come it does not let me access the hidden menus, and my signal is knocked out immediately like FA19?

the rom doesn't have hidden menus anymore and your signal isn't any different, theres just 4 signal bars now instead of 6 so it will look different.
If you were previously Odin'd to FA19, then you still have to Odin back to EJ06 before installing CTMod, otherwise you'll still be on FA19.
As far as the hidden menu's go, I don't think you can access them with the latest CTMod due to it being based off a MetroPCS phone or something... not positive about the carrier, but I know it's a different one than Boost.

I think the best thing to do is just Odin the EJ06 Phone.tar and keep the rest of the FA19 update . That's what I did . I installed all of the FA19 tars with the EJ06 phone.tar . It's running great .

I did Odin back to EJ06, it was the only way for me to get my signal back and my phone working again. FA19 is just a pile of fail for my phone, and when I install CTMod 3.2 with EJ06 it seems to move to FA19. Same problems with the signal aswell.
Also updates seem to be turned off too. I can't use FA19 it knocks out my signal and I stay with very little to no signal at all. I know that's FA19 cause with EJ06 I have good strong signal everywhere I go, and with the changes I get up to 1.5Mbps. with FA19 I'd be lucky if I hit 300kbps.
I hear ya regarding that FA19 update, I couldn't use it either. Although I do use CTMod 3.2 with EJ06 without any problems. When you install CTMod 3.2 your phone will say that it's FA19 but it's really not, if you're on EJ06. It does that so you don't get the update popup nagging you. You should be getting the same service with CTMod as you do on stock EJ06 because CTMod doesn't change anything as far as that is concerned.

the signal stuff your talking about has to do with being signed into the market, if your signed in its green and if your not it was gray. people didn't like it changing back and forth tho so I made it look the same.
you can use the apkinstaller.zip to install your ringtones or w/e, you'll just have to create the right folders in the zip. you can use kouma's HalfAssROM to get any of the old sound files.
yes it works. you will have to upload the framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk from the rom
Bloodawn quick question. I've noticed this in the past and was just wondering if this was a difference between stock (CTMOD) and CM7.
On CTMOD, Stock, and anything non-related to CM7 when you go to the Privacy Settings under the Settings menu. The only option you get is 'Factory Data Reset'.
However, on CM7 you have two other options:
'Back up my data: Back up appliaction data, Wi-Fi passowrds, and other settings to Google Servers'
'Automatic restore: If I reinstall an application, restore backed up settings or other data'
Now on other phones with stock they seem to have these options. Yet the prevail stock doesn't seem to have it. Is this intentional and are these options really part of the stock android or is this a CM7 thing? If they are part of stock can these settings be unlocked? If they can't it's not a big deal. I'm just wondering why the prevail doesn't have these options.
I've always been curious and figured why don't I just ask
Manufacturers and Carriers sometimes remove stock android settings and add extra shit when they make the roms for phones so that kinda stuff isn't always going to be the same.

what about the permissions, i did this manually the other day, but noticed that the permissions were "basic" or "default" GroupRead--GroupWrite--GroupExecute--OthersRead--OthersExecute, instead of the what they were originally which was, UserReadWrite--GroupRead--OthersRead as they are in system/apps folder
seeing how its just a audio file *.ogg im not worried about security...but would the system not read it properly...thus not displaying it as an option to choose from in the menu...
At the same time, for apps, that i could install, would be the default permission tree, is there a way Outside of the phone...a tool, to properly adjust the permission tree to be the secured UserReadWrite--GroupRead--OthersRead like they are in the system/apps folder.

the permissions for the audio files should be fine at whatever they are when you copy them there

the apkinstaller.zip has folders in in...
META-INF ...is this necessary? could i delete it, and just keep the system folder thats in there now, and copy over the folders/file structures...
or is that META folder needed to properly flash
just dont want to keep it there if its not needed, especially if its old and may cause problems.
mmm, I like the idea of installing a new ROM, this would be the first time I do this, I really want to give a try! But first, I want to make sure this ROM won't mess with 3g signal, I changed the IP address to 0.0.0.0 to get faster 3g and apparently more bars, can this be done with this ROM? Also, can i still use Beautiful Widgets and Link2sd apps? Since this ROM has adblocker, I won't be need an app for it, right? Thank You.

the META-INF folder is what makes the zip flash, if it wasn't there then it would just be a regular zip that does nothing more then store files.
just add the files you want to the system folder
I was very happy with CTMod 2.5 prior to.

No problem . Be sure to thank Bloodawn for supplying the ApkInstaller.zip . I just added the files that you needed so you could flash it in CWM .

You can also Odin ej06 then do a prl update and then install ctmod.
That has helped me.
My signal hasn't kicked back to 1x now.
I'm still waiting g to see if it'll do it at home.

i installed CTMOD 3.1, rebooted, installed the FA19 update, rebooted
no nags about updating....everything runs smoothly.

Yes It Does,
youll have to download and install either
koumakernel 1.2
or 1.3
those are the two kernels that support SD data format as far as i know.

should i choose the amend scripting? and if i do what should i choose?
i already tried default and galaxy type.
but the default doesnt work (only font)
and galaxy a lot of the theme works but it doesnt all show up
like status icons and such.

Amend vs Edify is the scripting language for the updater-script. We use CWM to install these themes and it uses Edify, so go with that.
Also KK2.1 mounts sd as data
