Root [ROM][DEV][WIP] CyanogenMod 10 for the LG Spirit 4G

So I've decided to give this build a go, I see only issues are Bluetooth & 4g data (reported 4g speeds reading 3g). What permissions need to be changed in order to get data to work, or is that issue resolved in this latest upload?

I got 4g speeds on his builds but you also have to be in a 4g area . like in long beach everything happens supper quick in like 8 seconds I was downloading about 70 mb . With YouTube everything is nice and quick . Pretty much the same sometimes better compared to stock 4g . Maybe because metro was left out of it completely so its not draining your data with those dumb as apps . I'm not quite sure all I know is that I'm enjoying it .

seems to have stopped.. will have to check that out. I would like to find the stock files and use it too, or even build it if possible.

That's what I've been getting on 3g

I'm in 4g area and I'm definitely on a slower 3g connection than stock 4g. I don't know about some, but my 4g used to be instant. This is fast 3g, not 4g...

Well I ran a speed test the other day when I tethered WiFi to my pc, downloaded some zips on the pc and was getting 28-32mbps download on the pc. I'll run a data speed test on the phone and let you know =)

For me it seems to be working never tried a speed test but I'll give it a try . What app you guys use to test ?
 
So are there any changes I need to make in the system when I install this Rom to get the data going, or it that issue resolved in this newer release?

No data is working just fine with the download link. You will have to go to Network settings and switch to CDMA/EvDo Auto. It will function as 3g.
 
I did the test on my way to work . Although personally I think its inaccurate since that seems to be slow . I know because just the other day I downloaded dead trigger quick then a mother fudger .

I forget of the things i change maybe it was because of the widgets I installed on this latest backup or it could be cause of that tango app I installed . It messes with my phones process of in/uninstalling its weird . Pg I meant no disrespect by the way

Quick question, am I gonna be able to use the stock spirit camera/music player/memo files/apps on cm10? Because I just tried installing the music player and it didn't take..???

prolly dependent on lg frameworks.

Try google music out for a music player. ;)
 
I'm trying out this 4g app from the market. I guess it adds access points or some shit to make your speeds faster. I've only tested it at my house so far. It gave me a slight speed boost. (I get bad reception at my house) I'll test deeper later on today though
