Root [ROM][FINAL] CM7 7.2 RC1 - g60 style [7.11.12]

i dont know if this was talked or brought up before.... but on stock i can send 20second mms videos but using this i can only send 5second ones. Just wondering if its fixable or something :)
 
I'm sure this has been asked before but if I'm coming from Whyzor's last build, can I flash over or clean install?
 
Does anybody have a new CM7 gapps package that has Google play instead of Android market? It gets annoying when it takes a while to auto update.

While it doesn't have the ICS middle app button it looks fine to me. Plus gmail no longer had the highlight of green in it like it used to after applying the ICS theme. Also the other feature I like is when you apply a theme from the Theme Chooser you normally need to reboot to apply all the icons. With Zeam you can just restart the launcher on the fly. Very practical launcher IMHO and also no Chinese LOL.

Thanks for axing the bloatware, G60. I currently have cm7 reloaded and its time for an update . cant wait to install this rom over the weekend. :D

That's my game plan, too, switch over ROMs over the weekend when I have time to deal with any weirdness. :)

I will look into this and verify (truthfully I don't send MMS). If it's an issue I will put it on the bug tracker.

I would recommend updating on wireless. There currently is no new updates out for GB type Roms for gapps.
 
This morning when my alarm went off, there wasn't anyway to dismiss it. No pop up window and couldn't access it through the notification bar. Anyone else experience this?
 
My alarm is working and I get the "snooze" & "dismiss" pop-up. I've only used the alarm about 3 times since I flashed the Slaughter House build though.

Just tested it and it worked fine. I setup a widget on the desktop for analog clock and set it for one minute later. It came up with snooze or dismiss. Worked fine. Might want to do a full wipe?

I had the same problem. Agenda widget, Fancy widget, and a few others. I just re-did the screens but a tad frustrating. Not frustrating enough to not upgrade. :-)
 
g60! this rom is great! smooth but the only downfall for me is the battery life. for me i get like 3% wen idle...compared to miui with less than 1% per hour wen idle.

Glad you enjoy it :) Could be as simple as some Kernel changes to help with battery. I will need to look into at some point. I have some other issues I am working on r0.7.

I remember from handcent, one of their features is to overcome the limitation of Android video transfer. Think there is something that controls it internally. Maybe under frameworks.

Edit: From handcent's google play: > Handcent MMS+ allows you to circumvent Android’s MMS limitations and send up to 10 files at 25 megabytes each for a total message size of 250 megabytes! This means sharing higher quality photos, videos, and music!
