Root [ROM][FINAL] CM7 7.2 RC1 - g60 style [7.11.12]

g60, thanks for the fixes! Do you plan on updating to patch the camera when dsmryder has it figured out, and also incorporating Chairshot's GPS improvements from the starship ROM? It sounds like he's managed to make some major improvements, and this is the only "stock" CM7 ROM.

Those fixes will be held off until the new release of CM7.2 is done. Can't give you everything or you won't try my new ROM LMAO :D:D:D
 
yeah, something is def wrong. I ran speedtest three times and got 120, 115, and 118 kbps. I used to be able to get 10x that speed under TG's ROM. My upload speeds are twice my download speeds

Such a nice ROM too. Oh well, back to TG.

Can you post the difference in speeds under each ROM? I would really like to see the difference and figure out what changed in the code.

It's funny to see my name mentioned in fixing something;)
Of corse when I get by build to where I want it, I goofed something up so I haven't been able to build sense sunday. I had the camera in my sites too.:D

And on the GPS, it hasen't been confirmed quite yet to work. There are some reports that it may have flaws or just be plecibo. And I had it on my not building build.:mad:
 
Ok, here is my totally unscientific results, they were taken in the same location on a fresh flash with the same exact settings, and the same Dallas server. Tests were run a few times to ensure consistency

I can confirm that on other ROMs, I can usually get 4 bars and 3g works pretty well. On this ROM, I rarely get more than 2 bars and it usually says 1x instead of 3g.

It doesn't matter much to me as I haven't had any trouble making calls and I mostly use WIFI for data, but I thought I would let you guys know about it.
 
I will look into this. When whyzor took over CM7 he forked mantera's device files who had forked from Issac. But no where in Isaac's device files did I see pulled in commits from tickerguy. So its possible something small maybe missing.
