quick question:
so basically there no changes between 9/21 build and this one, right?
I had video problems with 9/23 build so I rolled back to 9/21, now deciding if I should flash 9/26 build.
Camera/camcorder are now working correctlyI was going to ask the same question...
I was going to ask the same question...
Installed this rom earlier this week and have to give thanks for all the hard work. :congrats:
My camera runs beautifully now. The GPS connects right away. And the overall feel of the phone is much faster. Hardly any noticeable hiccups at all!
Now if we could only get ICS to operate the same way. One can only dream, lol...
I'm perfectly content with this version of cm7 (...for now )
Devs,
Is it possible to update the Droid font to the latest version?
https://github.com/android/platform_frameworks_base/commit/6a19759c0fae744e80c032ca3c23932e73e6d9d9
I can do what ever I want, mu wa ha ha.But in all seriousness, Is the font better?
It's the same font, it just ads some symbols and characters frequently used in some European countries that the original version is missing, so instead of seeing the original symbol/character when reading a webpage or email I see squares instead. I would really appreciate including this font update in the future releases!
Hello everyone - I hate wasting space in these threads, but wanted to thank the developers for making the Triumph into such a great phone. Without your help, we'd be paying $35 a month.
Also, is there any possibility that an MTDEV build might include compatibility with the Disable CPU Rendering mod? We've been hearing anecdotal evidence that it improves battery life, noticeably. I don't know if this is actually true, but it sounds pretty interesting. Does anyone know for certain?
It's already been discussed in these forums, and some of the devs from MTDEVs have already posted commentary on the subject.

We can look into this and see if it makes a difference. It looks like he offered a flashable zip have you tried this?

build.prop edits: try out this build.prop tweak, it speeds things up a bit more.
Open build.prop and add the following
change dalvik.vm.dexopt-flags=m=y TO
dalvik.vm.dexopt-flags=m=y,o=v,u=y
then save

I ran this and it appears that this virus that started on Samsung is also in the dialer if I understand it that is being used here.
Run this in the browser on your phone:
USSD Exploit Test
if your IMEI number comes up the you have a problem - down load telstop from play and load it and it will partially fix it - better yet change your dialer.
I might be the only one with this but I would be interested if anyone else is getting the same thing.
don't panic just check it out. We can always flash it out.

I am using the Disable CPU Rendering mod which is: the build.prop modifications, the new egl.cfg and the removing of one of the lib_android . I did this since 2 weeks with each one of the the newest CM7 MTDEV roms as soon as they appear. I am Overclocked at 1.7 GHz (ondemand) and my Triumph is a iPhone 5 killer. I have absolutely no problems when I apply the Disable CPU Rendering mod and never had lags or any reboots.
I use it 3 days + 3 nights without any charge (chinese battery 2000mah).

I couldn't find any info on the lib_android removal you speak of. Could you elaborate on this? Thanks!
I replaced the egl file, and changed the build.prob, but you make it sound like there's another step that I'm missing....
Delete (I just renamed) libGLES_android.so
