Root [ROM] MTDEV-CM9 build 20130120 [BETA]

10/10/2012
∙ Audio is very loud and sounds much better as it's being built from source
∙ Replaced boot animation with CM10 to save on space 2MB

Well now that I have a new Triumph I am back in the driver seat and working again. I have some new ideas on the camera, is it going to prove anything? Time will tell. I still need to work on the permissions for Bluetooth but the audio seems a lot better and doesn't seem to be clicking as much when you turn off the screen like previous builds. Still need to work on that. Anyways enjoy :)

Hi g60, I've updated to your 10/10/12 release and noticed that the system settings menu has been changed. Under "Notification drawer," the options that allow the user to change the dropdown menu shortcuts (and order, etc) no longer appears. The only option available is to change the custom carrier text. Thank you for the update!

That would be my fault.:o
I added the feature and sense I don't normally run CM9, I didn't see it in my testing, which included a post of a test ROM.

Thankyou for the notice. Now I can add this to the list of thing to doLOL

Before I check myself, could someone sell me if I moved the menu item? Look for "power widget"

Same thing Apexcell!

LOL, imagine that. I thought I was the only one.

I think it's my luck (though you may have it too). Flash down to an older ROM and a new rom comes out within hours. I bet if I dropped my Triumph and broke it, someone would instantly figure out how to get the camera to work on ICS. :D

Sorry guys, just so you know I will be releasing more in the days to come as I am fully charged after not coding seriously for about two months. So stay tuned!

Not your fault at all. I definitely appreciate all your work.

I actually downgraded from CM9 because my phone signal would go to -120dBm at least twice a day (total signal loss). If I don't notice, I'd miss all of my calls/messages and the phone would drain the batteries at a very rapid pace while signal-less. Setting airplane mode on/off or rebooting would restore it.

So far so good on CM7. This being said, I really REALLY like your CM9 more, and hope to return.

Deep sleep is broken with Wifi on here too?

And I never really got into overclocking these Arm7 phones. What overclock do you guys run, or no overclock?

Also, Welcome Back! :)? Ive been away for quite a long time as well :P.

I just started playing with overclocking mine.

On CM7, I left it set to the default Interactive governor, and I have the min set to 61Mhz, and I tried the Max at the highest, which is 2016Mhz (default is 1024Mhz), and it worked, but locked up after a while once, so I backed it down a couple steps to 1804Mhz for stability, and it never locked up.

I was setting the speed each time I started the phone for safety, but now that it seems fine, I just recently set it to use 61mhz/1612mhz at boot.

Each phone will have a different max reliable speed.

Thanks for the update. Bluetooth seems to connect better now even though it is not a listed fix. Lost proximity sensor and ear speaker functionality after the update. I thought this was because I updated without doing a full wipe. Tried everything from fixing permissions to restoring an older nandroid and doing a full wipe. Ended up that pulling the battery solved the problem.

NEW FEATURES
10/12/2012
∙Added CodeAurora Qualcomm libs for CM9 major speed and stability
∙Updated permissions

WOW! That is all I can say. While the camera is still not working, I have since resolved multiple error's in the logcat for missing libs. The Qualcomm libs I have added have pushed this ROM into hyper-drive and it is hands down the most responsive and most smooth ROM I have ever seen on the Triumph hardware!!! I am getting closer with the camera but still no dice as of right now. The permissions I updated are for bluetooth and wifi and radio, I can't tell if it made a difference but I would rather have them in then not.

As always please enjoy :D

He's not exaggerating! I just flashed the 10/12 ROM from a complete wipe, and it's ridiculously fast and smooth. Great stuff.

Some customization options seem to be missing. Apologies if this is common knowledge, but basically I can't change things like the notification drawer buttons/button order, or the battery display. The options for them are simply not there... unless I'm not looking hard enough. Is that intentional?

Nice work Madman!! Thankd

Flashed the cm9 10/10 yday. I thought it
Was fast. Gonna flash 10/12 now.
@deltaphc. Yeah, the rom is sweat. Took me a
While to figure where all the customazations are.
in the market there is EXTREME JELLY BEAN theme's for rooted
Phones.
That breath some life into the drab ics icons.

Perhaps we could get CornfedChris to take the "CM10" bootanimation and put a big 9 behind Cyanogenmod inside the rotating circle. That would look really cool.:D

Yeah I will look into it today and get those fixed for the next release. I know dsmryder made some changes to add in the ability to change the carrier type.

I've been dealing with my SDcard the past couple of days, otherwise I would load CM9 again and recheck. Could someone tell me if I successfully move the power widget from notification bar to power widger?

Nice Work G60 and Team!! Going to try and get by without having the cam and see how it goes. Does anyone know of a working Inverted Gapps for this? I flashed one earlier and it destroyed my 3G connection.

Thanks!!

dsmryder,

In Notification Drawer we only have the Custom Carrier
In the widgets we have the Power control

I have never heard of the Inverted Gapps, but here is a link I found

It's pretty awesome, all gapps are blacked out and much more eye pleasing. I trued that link earlier and had no luck. It destroyed my 3G and couldn't get the connection up. I'll find a few more and give those a shot and check in. Just loaded up the 10/12 build but don't have any time ti use it much yet.

Thanks,
Bidz
