Root [ROM] MTDEV-CM9 build 20130120 [BETA]

All can be found on sites for build.prop and init.d tweaks...found many of them scattered throughout different sites...and just added removed and added and removed...lol lots of trial and error... I can post my edited build.prop file but my init.d is comprised of several folders...I use set CPU for over/underclocking min 61mhz max1401 mhz profile screen off min 61mhz Max 652mhz Wi-Fi & data disabled unless using....undervolted min too 800 with incredicontrol

Here is my full build.prop ...I'm pretty sure all of these lines are known tweaks.

These lines help with battery...I have these in my init.d folder as well as some others...I'm still working to perfect the rest of my init.d folder.

I can't wait for the camera to work, when that happens ill install it right away! I need camera to tale pics of the weekly assignments in class haha. I should probably get around to fixing this myself!

Lol...ran out of room...I'm not going to be stingy with my init.d tweaks...I am getting like 4990 in antutu benchmark and think everyone should be able to enjoy that...but since adding them I have had a lot of buggy issues and random reboots...will post once fixed...I have been experimenting with battery life and performance since the day I got my optimus v like 2 or more years ago.

I love the ROM!! I have been running it for quite a while now and its super smooth. Only problems I have ran in to is the ringtone selection in some 3rd party apps will freeze the phone. Someone said it wasn't like that on the 12 build so maybe it is the kernel mem changes.

Other than that I wanted to point out the battery usage stats don't work. And so far the ROM runs smooth for the most part. I have some freezing and apps not responding occasionally but its usually with like 10 tabs open on boat browser lol! I'm trying to dial in the lowmemkller settings to help keep mem free but not killed of apps to much!

Gotta say g60 you are making great things here!!

You know you've done good when b_randon gives you props. Used to run brom on my intercept now use cm9 on my triumph. Both you guys rule

You aren't required to flash every update. I always read the change log and then decide to flash a new update or not.

Also, who is this guy Cartman?

Cartman is from South Park. A show on Comedy Central.
Very funny, as funny as it's wrong.

You could add more if you put them in the code boxes.

Code:
yada yada[CODE] with a / before the second "CODE" to close the string.

is there any kind of ETA on the camera? I dont mean to rush or bother, but it would be an awesome Christmas present! and also might keep me from getting another phone

according to this crack head on C-list he already has both camera and HDMI working. He even sends bi-weekly updates to your phone.Just need to pay him $35.I'm going to see if he has it or if it is a lie.

There is no ETA or guarantee I will get the camera working before xmas, or ever for that matter. If your waiting to buy another phone, then buy another phone. Don't let some guy in New Mexico hold you up just because there maybe a chance that the camera works. Even if I get the camera to work I can't promise how perfect it's going to be. I have a family, a job, a life outside these forums. I do this in my free time and as a hobby, and to be honest with you the glamour is wearing off as I have been working on this phone since December of 2011. I would like to solve the camera and give these forums a Christmas Gift to Cheer about and line Motorola's boots full of coal but time will only tell.

Hey G60, just installed your newest CM9 release on my 2nd triumph and I am impressed to say the least. Very smooth, especially compared to stock. Even the CM7 was a little more glitchy i found than the CM9. The only issue/question i have is about the ram. I am only seeing about 380 total ram under the applications in settings. The most i have free is like 200mb. This phone states 512mb ram, so where does the extra 132 mb dissapear to?

Thanks for everything and im looking forward to the camera release!

Due to the restructure of ICS it uses more RAM for the virtual sessions with in the OS. Here is a good article on it. Mind you this is for the Galaxy Note which has 1GB of RAM but this article still applies to the Triumph.

Why did I get less free RAM after the ICS update in my Galaxy Note? | Galaxy Note Owners Community

So I figured out that toggling airplane mode does fix the 3G/Calls/Text radio.

Does it have anything to do with the phone going into deep sleep?

PS: Happy Turkey Day!

Not sure, I have not spent a lot of time on this. Also I have removed all code from TickerGuy that was imported from mantera so I may have missed something. Right now adding the airplane mode in the top bar is the best route to go. I will try and look into this, but adding it to the main page as a bug.

I feel you man, you sure have put in some work on this phone. what was originally a paperweight has become something that fills just about every phone-related need, thanks to you and your team.

G60 I love what your doing and thank you thank you thank you sir I am thinking about buying a new phone but knowing my luck ill buy the phone and you will get the cam working. I have a question can't you just buy the code via Motorola?

Don't you fools know the rules? You don't bother the guys working on the software for an ETA. They aren't your parents, they don't owe you punks anything. Have your folks buy you another phone or learn to wait a little. Flash some of the great custom builds already made for CM7 for now. RELAX.

If bsydz is correct the the petition was a great idea but was aimed at the wrong people and gets us nowhere... maybe another try pointed in the right direction and with a little more umph behind it...petitions can make great strides for us but needs the entire triumph community to push it through...I'm sick of all the whining I hear about this phone...it's always the complainees not backing these things, simply stating" it's not worth my time" and "it will never happen."

Or donate some money to the cause to make it even more worth it for these guys. I don't have a lot to contribute, but donated some hard-earned cash to help make this phone even better.

Correct, this maybe the case. However this is a process of elimination. Since the phone is wrapped with Motorola Logos front and back, battery, under the battery and it boots with a Motorola Logo, the first beast to kick in the shin will be Motorola. If and when they blow us off I will log into change.org and change the petition to be who ever Motorola blames. My guess is they bought the rights to the phone and for all intents and purposes own the rights to the software as well.

Very true...I expected to see a much bigger turnout to sign the petition...I would like a little more support from everyone...past present and future owners of the triumph...if you have ever held this horror they call a triumph in your hands...please for the love of it all support anything that could help push a step forward...do not ignore it or dismiss it...we need to support this as a whole

I must say I am impressed already by the amount of signatures. This was tried before and I am not sure what came of it
