Root [ROM] MTDEV-CM9 build 20130120 [BETA]

Hey G60 when you get some free time shoot me a message need to talk to you about something interesting.The C-List guy turned out to be a fraud (OMG surprise!NOT!).So no working camera :( but no money lost on my end.

SMH can you not read?I said was a TRUE fix in santa's bag mean will we get a surprise for Christmas and not some C-list crack head blowing smoke up peoples butts.And I have only talked about the camera ONCE outside what this other guy was trying to sell me.So unless you are a DEV you need to calm down.I know the MTDEV team is hard at work and I don't request for a time I just joke about stuff but you can't see that.

I would like to thank you, g60madman, for your dedication, because where would we be without you!

As a new user, I, too, have found the same trouble with my brand new CM9 install on an untouched (VM activation only) Triumph. I did the full wipe + dalvik wipe, I checked the MD5s on both the 11-13 and 11-12 betas and find the same thing with both, that my phone reboots when I answer calls, all inbound calls. The only thing that I've done is a gapps install (gapps_ics_4.0.3_v11; this might not be the best version to use?), and I'll rule that out shortly as a mitigating factor. I appreciate how much you put into rooting out problems like this, so thank you, again.

EDIT: did the re-installs with both 11-12/13 without gapps, same thing, first thing done after startup was place an inbound call, and when the call was answered, it rebooted immediately (or within one or two seconds at most with voice on one occasion) with both of them. Also tried b_randon14's 6.0.1.5 CWM instead of the 5.0.2.6 that I had been using, to the same effect.
 
Guys come on, no fighting, the camera may work in 5 minutes or it may never work, but the real thing to appreciate is g60 and the devs hard work, they take time out of their day to help us all out, they have lives outside of the triumph too. Just appreciate them, theyve done amazing work and im forever grateful

I don't fight :) I just think he lost his sense of humor with that sense 3.0 upgrade lol.And I know how hard ALL the DEV's work on the phone.I know they have R/L stuff outside here.I respect them very much.I just don't like being painted as someone that doesn't.Most the DEV's here will tell you (I think) that I do respect them ALOT.As for the camera if I need a working one there is always CM7 so it's no biggie for me.Would I like CM9 with camera?YES!But I won't cry if it doesn't come.But I do think santa has the key to the fix in his nice bag for the MTDEV team :)

I'm no dev but I wouldnt have given second thought to a craiglist ad...let alone spam a dev forum about it for a week. I gave g60 the name dorrargaray. The guy helping fix it. I tried to give relavent, helpful info. I take no credit, he may have known hi already. Still, more relavent than calling some dude on craigslist a crackhead for 50 posts.

And its sense 4. Please do try to keep up on your tech.

is anyone else having a problem with really slow wifi? sorry for posting again I don't know how to go about fixing that. and yes i have wipe/flashed
 
Using the latest build and having some issues. Whenever I delete the cache from an app, the MB used increases instead of decreases. Also, PowerAmp FC's and will randomly start. Any ideas? And yes I've already wiped and re-installed the ROM twice already, same with PowerAmp.

Ok first off I didn't make 50 posts about it.If you take the 0 out I feel it would be more accurate.Second sense 4.0 is HTC and I believe that,if I remember correctly,someone posted on the Triumph boards if we can get sense 3.0 so there's the reason for that.And third if you talk to G60 you will see why it was important for me to check this out.If you could only get your head out of the sand you would see I was trying to HELP.If the guy was legit THIS community was going to benefit from it cause I was going to share it.But he was a fraud and what I found out about him DOES have meaning(again ask G60 on it).It's like you don't care if my lead could have been a help....it's like you want to tout yourself with "well I got someone in touch with someone else that's helping."I think that's great but if there was any truth in what this guy told me then I think even you would had looked into it(FYI he runs a cellphone shop a REAL SHOP that's why I had to check).

lol too funny.Well I'm not turning it into one.I don't have to do that cause I just come out with facts in a cool way without insults ;).But I can see how it does look like one.I'm just defending myself :).hmmm guess that would mean I'm trying to keep myself from getting pissed on LOL ;)

i'm glad g60 just said he won't be developing this further until he learns more C++, so we can finally stop getting posts from people with the words "when" or "camera" in them.
 
If all of you would stop bickering at each other, maybe the thread wouldn't be filled with useless rants and some of us who have legit questions would get some help.

I haven't had any issues with slow Wi-Fi that I know of. Did you test your speed or is it just talking longer than normal bringing up pages?

@emerald, sorry no experience with those issues but I don't track that stuff currently. Doesn't dsp work like power amp or is the latter better?

PowerAmp is an actual music player whereas DSP is just an equalizer.

Did you flash from a different ROM or update from an earlier version of this CM9 rom?

If you have this option selected in this ROM, the music app can be mistakenly started by accidentally long pressing one of the volume buttons.

Licensing issues can cause an app to FC. Did you buy poweramp using google play? If so, with poweramp uninstalled, does My Apps say that you have purchased poweramp. If not, you will probably want to clear data on the play store and then sign in again.
