I wondered bout that but i received texts from a buddy thats on sprint, dont we run on sprint?

Yes and no. We run on their neworks, but the sms, mms, texting run through VM's servers. That's as far as I know. If anybody feels like having a good read, you could look through TickerGuy's CM7 thread and he seemed to actually know what he was talking about
 
am i the only one having problem with the photo gallery? sometimes pictures don't show and sometimes when click on a picture another phone comes up. what can be the cause of this?
 
Is anyone else having problems with games on this rom? im getting reboots everytime i try to start playing Temple Run, or Fun Run.

Any tips or recommendations to avoid reboots?

Is it possible that the next update will allow the messaging app to have a black background/night mode?

Also, does anyone else have trouble with the Triumph randomly losing signal? I turn on airplane mode and then turn it back off, which seems to fix it, but I would rather keep my signal fairly constant.

A night time mode probably won't be in the next release, but add it to the issue tracker so I don't forget. Until then you could use handcent or GoSMS

I also have the issue of losing signal at random. I've also had issues with my status bar, occasionally when I pull the status bar down, it is completely blank (no notifications or buttons). It takes a few times to get it back working. And my status bar still works when the phone is locked.
 
Just wanted to report that Voip isn't working every time I try to make a call on textplus is just force crashes. Not complaining or anything just making a report ;)
 
Any chance of getting the clearing of voicemail back? I mean, I have a bunch of new VM's, but I can't get rid of the notifications. In CM7 I could either swipe them away or press clear, then have no more notification.
 
I have been off the forums for awhile just rockin an old version of cm7 that satisfied me, but popped on and flashed this, the camera had NO response, was I wrong? I thought it had semi functions
 
Should at least open. Perhaps your Triumph is not playing nice with the download. You could try reflashing it and see what you get.

I think you sould consider reflashing the ROM. I have never had an issue with the status bar.

This is probably a low memory issue. I have an idea to run a swap file and a way to reduce the RAM disk. Between those (I can't spell) ideas, the whole phone should work better.

That sould work. I would consider a reflash.

The camera has a working display and a can capture with panaramic mode.
That and I think the display is rotated.
 
Swiping any other notification will clear it. It's only the voicemail that won't clear. Also, my camera will not open. I simply get a message that says "cannot connect to camera". These are both after redownloading and reflashing.

Note:I have a Class A replacement coming. The phone with the issues above had a useless charge port, and the first replacement they sent would reboot every 10 minutes or so. We'll see if a brand new one will work better

Could have been an internal hardware issue. It might have been causing all of your issues.

And on a side note. I have ownership of the first two threads so I can update as nessecary. And to go with that. I have just booted an update. The only thing I did was update the power_profile.xml and ran a repo sync. The repo sync will pull in any updates that are linked outside our control. I am running it on the DEV phone and I can just say that it seems that nothing has changed. I'll update the first post when I get a moment.
 
Don't you guys taking turn on CEO position on these MTDEV rom? Yesterday, I saw g60 was thread starter and now.. it's different member? President of US have 4yr term. How ofter on this MTDEV CEO term?:D:D

If you saw the behind the scene talks we have had, you would understand that we work together on this stuff. It's just real hard to get is all in the same"room"
 
Anymore progress on the camera? I noticed when they first got it partially working it took a better pic than it does now. What's up? are we gonna have to live with this or is anyone working on it?
 
The camera is kinda like the first and second rules of Fight Club.


People are working on it. Don't make them annoyed. They will let us know when they have something to tell us. They are kind, gentle, and peaceful people. We wouldn't like them when they're angry.

Been seeing an awful lot of ignorant posts like this all over development threads lately. "Are we gonna have to live with this?" Really dude? U want a working cam? Go back to stock or learn how to help these guys with all the hard work they do for free...you could start by not making posts like that, might as well be asking for an ETA, both are highly frowned upon.....
 
I did not ask for an e.t.a. morons. I was just asking about progress of the camera. This is an open forum and I should be able to ask whatever I want.
