My phone keeps rebooting when uploading a photo to instagram?!... Anybody else having this problem?
Same problem on CM7, it has to do with the GPU drivers and/or RAM. Same reason HD games such as Bloons TD5 and both temple runs reboot the phone.

Don't listen to them, the the camera is fully working now. You can download the real working build here

Alright, I am back. I have a boss computer now, and I hope like hell G60 didn't leave. I have had so much going on, moving my gma to a new house, getting laid off my job, ect. SO with all this free time and a new computer, who wants to teach me how to build on this bad puppy?
As well, I am not quite sure where the new build is. I am on 20121231. hah. Could someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction for updates? Thank you all!:smokingsomb:
Where do you need me to start?
Start with my builder helper thread.
Alright, downloading Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit now. I have used ubuntu before, and are quite familiar with it (haven't used it in a while so I may be rusty lol) but just want to post my specs on here, see if I qualify.
Amd A6-5400K APU with Radeon HD Graphics 3.60 GHz
AMD Radeon HD 7540D - 4042 Total graphics memory
8.00 GB RAM
64-Bit Windows 8
It doesn't take much of a machine to build things... you'll be fine. But, it's going to take a while, I'm guessing well over an hour.
People like lots of memory and processors so they can build a bunch of stuff in parallel. For C++, one ballpark is about 1GB ram per compilation process. Again, that is just to speed things up, you could build this stuff on a 500MHz P3 but it's going to take all night.
I honestly wouldn't care if dsmryder or bsydz used my PC to remotely build Roms, because I have school during the day anyways. I have an i5 3570k, which I'm guessing would be a good CPU for building. Just pm me if you guys would be interested, but I know you'd rather have me building them myself.
Does anyone else have proximity sensor issues? Bleh damn annoying when I have to sit and wait an extra 4to5 seconds after phone call in order for screen to come back on... where are those sensors anyway? Maybe I'll cut out the screen protector over it or them...
Huh... so no one has the proximity sensor issue on 3-20 build then?
Yeah, what he said.
Although, the P3 isn't 64 bit and you would be restricted to FroYo. I had a machine that was similar and it took about 3 hours to compile CM7 before g60 streamlined it. I would guess about 4 for CM9 on that rig.
Seeing as how many are having issues with the proximity sensor, is there any way to disable it? For the record I am still running CM7 20121015 (sorry, but too many stability issues the last time I tried CM9) and I've poked around the settings a bit but can't find anywhere to disable it. If I have to do something during a call, more often than not the screen does not come back on when I take the phone away from my ear, and it also does not like to come back on right away after a call is finished. I don't remember if I had similar problems on CM9.

Under Call settings there is an option "Always use proximity". It's not checked on my phone, but I don't have an issue with the sensor.
I believe earlier CM7 builds had issues with proximity. Try the 12-28 build, that is the last one I was using before moving to CM9, and it was working for me.
