It's just that they pushed a commit that broke the build. I. for some reason, repo sync'ed and wasn't able to build. It took me a while to figure it out and I didn't want to ask for help. Trying to be a big boy:D. This kind of thing was happening all the time when we were trying to get CM7 working on this device.

Not to beat on a dead horse but it's funny how some azn dude (and azn meaning asian I would guess) isn't a DEV.Thought all those Asians knew how to work on electronics.Hell this Asian girl once told me "I'm not dumb I'm Asian".IDK if she was saying that cause Asians are so smart or if being Asian is what caused her to appear so stupid.Anyways thought everyone needed a laugh.Great work Adamo and dsmryder.Thanks for all your hard work.

Thanks for a camera, I knew SOMEONE would be able to fix.

I have two questions...

1. I mistakenly chose the front facing camera and now android is stuck to that camera. Is there an app or something i can reset without reinstalling the whole rom? Wipe a cache? which one?

2. I seen a fix (as a zip) to get the alternative camera under a different rom's development forum thread. Is flashing this rom then flashing that (zip file) fix worth a try? I assume all responsibility if it bricks i know...

To answer question one go to System settings-->apps--->all---->camera then choose clear data.That should reset it.You might need to reboot after.As for the second question can you post the link to that post?

I was in class a while ago, a girl took my phone to take photos with, and when I walked over there my eyes were the size of quarters when I realized she press the switch camera button. I didn't wanna reinstall my ROM, so I was pretty angry, but just told her it was fine, fixed it by wiping dalvic and cache in the recovery (I don't know if wiping Dalvik on a ROM you've been using for a while is good.. but it worked!

I had a prior version of CM9 , did the wipe/d wipe , installed the latest "stable" version and had the same thing happened to me. I did another full wipe and had the same thing still.

I then started using the 20130415 build in the Testers folder, and that works fine.
I did notice that WIFI is acting strange. When my phone isn't in use, Wifi goes into sleep mode even when it is set to Never in Wifi sleep policy. The wifi icon doesn't show and when I press scan nothing happens. I have to turn it off, turn it on.

Something else I noticed: I have better phone signal coverage.

I've noticed that too. I thought it might be my POS router.I'm glad I got a peice of feedback, thank you.
 
I have redone the repo for CM9. Like I was saying before, sometimes the CM team or who ever will update the ROM and it will mess up the ROM. And after some time of not being able to build and now can't boot what I have built I have made the repo over and am now testing it out.

If you want to follow along you change the repo init from ics to dsmryder

Whoa I haven't posted in these forums in a while. Anyways going back to this, I can confirm that the cute and simple weather widget on the lockscreen has not been working for me either and after looking into it, it seems that the Yahoo weather servers are down, have changed or are under maintenance.

I can further confirm this as my SimiClock widget (a very simple but awesome weather & info widget which unfortunately is not being updated anymore :( uses the same Yahoo servers and stopped updating the weather info around the same time as the lockscreen.

I read somewhere that Yahoo was doing some updates on their weather servers and it should be up and working again soon but don't quote me on that as my source didn't seem too reliable.

Hey, this is my first post here! :)

While it may be my first post, I have been running and following the Motorola Triumph ROMS since I got my phone almost 2 years ago! I have currently been running the CM7 ROM (because of the camera), but wanted to try the CM9 build because I have read so many great things about it on this forum.

It installs great, and everything else runs really smooth and snappy, but my phone will not get any service. Other radios like wifi work great. I have tried for the past 2 days reflashing the rom, but it will not pick up ANY service, not even 1x.

So for now I am running CM7 again until I can get CM9 sorted out.

P.S. You devs are so great! I really appreciate what you have done (and are doing :)) with this phone! Big thanks!
 
Update: My CM9 build still does not get service, but THE CAMERA WORKS.

I have no idea how or why, but opening the camera app actually works. It will beep and take a photo with flash, but crashes every time it saves, so it can never store them.

Are you using the 20130218 build?If so that one doesn't have service.

Yep I initially was. Flashed the most recent tester build, and now my service is working great. Really enjoying CM9, it feels so much smoother than CM7. It is like a new phone now. Kudos to the devs!
 
I wiped out my MT and installed CM9 on it. I use Virgin Mobile for my carrier. How do I get access to turn my VM service back on?? I dont see how to activate it so I can use the phone again. Is there a file or app I need to use? I backed it up prior to CM9 with Titanium Backup. Please advise.

Activation has to be done on a STOCK ROM. You can look in my signature and find the "root" folder. Use the Stock ROM as it will preserve the recovery.

If your phone has service then you don't need to reactivate it.

I used the 3-20 build when I took my trip to MI.It was a 12 hr drive.GPS worked amazing even in the dead zones of West Virginia.But I will note that for navigation to get a lock on me the first time took FOREVER.
 
Sorry to be a helpless twit, but I can't seem to find the link for the current working version of this ROM or the Gapps to go with it.

I was going to try Paranoid Android, but ran into too many annoyances.
