Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

My question is: Are you using a third party SMS/MMS program? I had trouble with third party ones.

Also, Do you not receive any at all? If its a size issue I'm not sure if there is a setting to modify this.

I was using GoSMS. I had issues as well so I use the stock messenger now.

Settings> System > Mobile Network Settings > Turn off data enabled but leave option below it on (Always receive MMS even when data is disabled).

I had this option enabled when I was using MIUI, and still think I had to turn on 3G to download the picture. But that was with GoSMS. I am currently using CM7 and don't think I will go back to MIUI anytime soon (mostly because I like the CM7 menus better at least for the themes I use).

p.s. I just tested the stock messenger to be sure and I get the MMS with a download button if I don't have 3G on. With 3G on it does it automatically. With GoSMS I think I had to use the download button every time, but I may have set it that way. With MIUI do you get the picture downloaded automatically without 3G on? It doesn't really matter to me, I am just curious.

My friends picture he just sent me did download automatically with the data disabled. I only use the stock messenger.

With the latest build I get stuck on the boot animation. I can use the phone and interact with the lockscreen and launcher, but I can't see what I'm doing.

EDIT: If I plug in the data cable it fixes the problem.
EDIT 2: This build is very slow for a few minutes after boot.

No problems here.

EDIT: What build were you coming from?

I'm assuming you mean 10232011-2. You will probably need to wipe. 110911 has a major change to frameworks.

To those complaining of the slowness after boot: Of course it's going to be a little slow. Check what logcat is doing during time. It's very busy. Once the system settles everything is fine.

Would there be any way to change the PRL to the Sprint one? I tried following the steps with AnyCut from the Market, but there is no option for COM Port. If this was answered in a previous thread, please disregard.
Thanks Isaac!

Do it on stock, then flash back to MIUI.

Agentc13 is correct. You'll have to go back to stock to flash a new PRL. Good luck, let us know how it goes. I was curious about doing this myself.

Long time follower.... First time poster.... Do I understand this correctly to update the prl, meaning changing it manually. It has to be done from the original factory rom? Insight into this would be great. I would like to do it from MIUI or CM7 for MT.

If it only from the factory ROM. If you flash back to MIUI or CM7 will it follow or will it require a fresh build?

maybe this was already addressed before... but twice that ive updated from a previous build, facebook app goes away? then when i install it from the market, it goes to a force close error. good thing i have facebook backed up on titanium and i just restore it! is this normal?

No "Shortcut" for texting or calling an individual contact? The stock ROM and CM7 could do this, but I can't find an option for it with MIUI. Am I missing something, or did MIUI take this shortcut option out?

My first installation attempt coming from the previous build I only formatted / system before installing the zip and after rebooting I received the Motorola screen twice and was about to pull the batter when CWM booted. I then restored the backup I had made before formatting / system and installing the zip. I downloaded the zip again just in case mine had been corrupted in either the download or putting on my SD card. The same thing happened again with a new copy of the zip so that did not seem to be the issue. I will try again over the weekend but will first wipe data, caches and formatting / system before installing the zip. I really did not want to do this as I am not sure I will be able to remember how to set up my current configuration. Does anyone know what could be going on here? Was wondering if my theme having its own boot animation could have something to do with it. Shot in the dark but it’s all I can think of at the moment as I did not apply any mods or make any other changes outside of the theme. I did use the theme backup but not the backup that required an account.

Will edit my boot-screen theme back to default and see if it makes a difference before trying a full wipe.

+1 on themes - boot animation! it did fubar a previous install of miui on my phone. it got stuck at the boot animation. *theme was also the only thing that i've changed. i had to do a restore and then re-updated to the new build without changing my themes anymore.

Isaac-

I am running the 11-3 update.
Is anyone experiencing a delay when moving back from an open apk to the Launcher Home screen? When you touch the Home button, it sends as if it needs to catch up. I have the settings for memory and graphics set in the off position.

All is well otherwise. Thanks for addressing the BT Profiles!

Solved my problem: Wiped and started from scratch.

on the MIUI rom is there anyway to change the carrier name to Sprint? Can anyone possibly post up an apk that I can flash to change the carrier name?

Not sure about sprint but there has been a Mod floating around that will replace Virgin Mobil with Miui. It also adds a boot into recovery option to your toggles.

No. I have no issues with the latest build other than the ones listed in the original post. There were no major changes to my port as well. Furthermore, I never touch anything directly related to the MIUI UI.

Great build, Isaac, quite stable, and I'm not experiencing any bugs at all! Perfect!

I haz question: What do you mean by "PRL coming from radio"? Do you mean we have stock PRL or the new one?

It means that the phone will grab what PRL you are using from the radio and display it correctly, instead of just displaying the stock PRL regardless of which one your phone uses. They had to do this for MIUI and CM7 originally to make things work until they found a way to get the correct one to display.

You will have the stock PRL unless you flash a different one yourself. Using a different ROM will not change that on you.
