Root [ROM] Warp 4G Stock B12 KitKat 4.4.2 Deodexed and Unmodified

Root Instructions for full stock 4.4.2 devices

Download the
Warp 4G Unbrick tool iso
Download SuperSU.zip and put it on the sdcard of your device
(optional - only if you want to install PhilZ too) Download PhilZ_recovery.zip and put it on the sdcard of your device

Enable USB debugging on your device - go to Settings > About phone. Tap on SW version several times until it says you are a developer. Hit back to get to the main settings, choose Developer options, check USB debugging, agree to the terms.

Use your favorite burning software to burn the iso image to cd. ImgBurn for windows is nice because it is free, easy, and effective. Personally I make bootable usb flash drives instead of cd's. There is a program called Unetbootin that makes the process very easy. Once the cd is burned or the USB flash drive is created, put it in your pc and reboot. Enter into your pc bios and change the boot order making the cd drive/flash drive the first to boot. Normally to get into pc bios, you need to press one of the following: del, f2, f10, or f12. It depends on the pc but it is usually right after the pc starts and it will say on the screen which one to press.

Plug in your device to the usb port.

Open the terminal from the black icon on the bottom left of the pc desktop
Type:
cd /home/tux/ZTE_Unbrick_Tool/partitions

Type the following in the terminal:
adb reboot bootloader
(you will need to accept something on the device at this point or it will say the device is unauthorized)

Once you are in bootloader type:
fastboot boot warplte_mmcblk0p16_recovery.img
(this will boot your device into PhilZ recovery. It will not install it, just boot to it. You will have the ability to use it as normal until you reboot)

(optional) Flash PhilZ_recovery.zip like a normal ROM on your device to install PhilZ
Flash SuperSU.zip like a normal ROM on your device. Reboot your device and enjoy root :)
I don't have a computer sorry I xosnt state that I have read this entire thread

Like most things in my life, I did it the hardest way possible, but it was a great learning experience and I appreciate my phone so much more than I did this time last year and I would love to get another as a backup, but i heard zte isn't selling new ones anymore. You think they would since they just did release the KitKat update, ya know? Well if anyone wants to sell theirs please let me know okay? Dumb question huh?

Make sure to check those few letters that 'follow' HTC ONE, because there's a huge difference between the M8 and say the SV like I had and got rid of. I paid a $100 online close to a year ago and believe me it was 'NO' M8. No offense, just be careful.

Can I flash a new ROM without comp I'm new to all this I don't even know how to flash lol honestly
If you have JB, you can Framaroot.. ect

Wow, didn't know that. Thanks for heads up! I'm trying to stick w/ ZTE cuz of the unlocked bootloader (don't wanna go thru tons of BS for an unlock code). I'm actually looking into the new Warp Sync but it's being labeled unrootable due to something called a Secure boot img.. Isn't that the kernel? Decent specs too.

This way did not work for me also, it could not find the phone. At one point the screen changed to say"downloading do not turn off" in some kinda of script font. But it did nothing just sat there. The phone never did anything. I followed the steps but the phone is still not rooted. It is a brand new phone and it updated right out of the box to 4.4.2 now I can't get it rooted.

Is there way to do it using odin?

No, odin is for Samsung devices only. The root method I posted is confirmed working. Typos or missed steps are the most likely cause of problems.

I had to keep hitting Cancel on the auto update till I was done Rooting/Recovery/ROM while still in JB.
The Cancel option IS there for a reason! Lmao. Dang.. Sorry bro.

Can someone plz e mail me legit DL links and specific steps to root my phone or at least do something to share WiFi with Samsung galaxy tab!?!!., plz I'd so appreciate it !

Everything you need is in the first post of this thread. There are DL links, install instructions, and a link to root instructions. There is a thread for wifi tether here.

Question for anyone. I went back to this rom after having the lollipop rom since it's release. Everything seemed good (TB working fine, etc.), but when I got some extra time, I tried putting the boot animation I prefer into system/media using ES File Explorer, I got an unable to move message. Picture attached. Screenshot_2015-01-11-11-38-31.png Any suggestions?

My guess is that you did not enable R/W support for /system in Es File Explorer under the Tools >> Root Explorer >> Mount R/W options
