Root [ROM][WIP] BACKside ROM (CM7) + Green Machine Theme

About the animation thing, I just realized the animations that flash white are animations that have a beginning, then switch to a looping part, the ones that work flawlessly are the ones that just loop the whole animation. I hope this makes sense for those that may run into the same issue.

Just flashed the new build, it's awesome and fixed a problem I had that kept telling me the phone had a full charge when there was <10% battery left when I tried to charge it.

Thanks Jerry! And the future fingerprint unlocker seems like it'll be really cool. :)

I've been running BS 02122012.
Have had a few freezes with it, but tonight it was in the most inopportune time. I decided tonight I was going to flash the 02192012 ROM since that was the newest one... so I thought.
See you have been working hard and have a new one released.
Just finished flashing. Hope this solves the screen freeze.
Thanks for the hard work.

You either had a bad download (did you use the BacksideUpdater? it checks the download automatically, if not you have to check the md5sum), or you didn't wipe cache/dalvik-cache, or you had a bad flash.

Redownload, check the md5sum once it's on your phone, then reboot into recovery, wipe cache and dalvik-cache (under advanced), then flash the ROM zip file, then reboot. ;)

To check the md5sum, open the BacksideUpdater (in your app drawer), wait for it to load the manifest, then press the menu key and select "Already download - Select File Manually", then choose the ROM zip file.

or

Open terminal emulator and type the following:
Code:
su
md5sum /sdcard/download/BACKside-IHO-VM670-02292012.zip

Thanks Jerry for the latest update. I think the 'Skip on security' function may be partially broken--under Settings > CyanogenMod settings > Lockscreen > Unlock options. I've always had this option checked/selected, and the setting would be retained and functional after the last several updates. However, in this latest 0229 update, the function no longer seem to work after a reboot--the Sliding Tab lockscreen appears even though disabled. Attempts to de-select that 'Skip on security' option would also not stick. Please check when you get a chance. Not a big deal, nor a show-stopper. Thanks again.

[Edit] Besides upon reboot, the Sliding Tab lockscreen also appears unexpectedly when the charger is first connected. [/Edit]

[Edit #2] The Sliding Tab lockscreen also appears when pressing the Power, Home, Return or Search button to wake the phone. However, pressing the Menu button to wake the phone behaves as it should--the keyboard for unlock PIN entry screen appears and no Sliding Tab screen. [/Edit #2]

I will look into it, it could be due to the fingerprint unlock commit from CM.
