You mean I should delete all of those 200 miscellaneous contacts? That would probably take longer than typing in the 60 again, and syncing them.

Moving contacts from phone only to his gmail account

Sync them once more, and clear Contact storage in All Apps, then uncheck Sync Contacts.

Nope the phone doesn't work that way, if its a phone only contact (making the contact phone only while already signed into gmail) then it wont go to gmail by itself.....

Oh! Export the contacts to csv, and import that file in Gmail on a pc! Then you're right there to make any edits you need, then sync the phone with your Google account. That would work...

I told him to post in OV forums......I think the downloadables are just for OM but who knows, anyone willing to try the apply patch on their OV?

I noticed he made a patch for the BACKside ROM already. This is why I brought it up in the BACKside thread. I have LBE, but might try PDroid as it looks like it might work better.

Hmmm, what's LBE? Can you post it in BACKside for OM for us to try if it has a patch?

LBE is a security app on the play store. Check it out, it's pretty useful...
ever since updating to backside 05-02-2012 my screen freezes. the phone doesn't freeze, but the screen does and i have to pull the battery to fix it. At first i thought it was because of an app I installed so I booted to recovery and did a full wipe but it still does it. What am I doing wrong?

Go into cyanogen mod settings, display, uncheck rotation animation, reboot. It's a glitch in cm.

A weird thing I've noticed is the battery will go down and up a few percent without being plugged in.

Is this a browser issue and can it be avoided by using a browser other than the Android browser?

Its like a Trojan virus, it hijacks your phone, if you use a browser that does prompt you for downloads that you didn't initiate, you should be good, idk which browser prompts for all downloads though.

I tried this but every time I reboot it comes up checked, so essentially I'm unable to check this off.
UPDATE: Never mind, this time it worked...go figure!
