I've just added the line to my build.prop and...

The 3G icon is back for me as well! Thank goodness, the eternal 1X icon was bugging the hell out of me. :p

edit: I've noticed that, despite having 4G in a way, the ICCID value in my about screen is still defined as "Unknown". Is it just me, or is that still being worked on as I type this edit?
 
Angablade just gave me a test build that has near EVERYTHING FIXED
Only things that aren't working are
Front facing camera video
Phone won't vibrate when being called
and just the 1x icon is still there
But EVERY other issue is now fixed, low call volume, a LOT louder :)
this is near perfect.

These builds need to be put together than, atleast for that low call volume.Ask him to Share with the devs:)

I've been testing those too. He built a lot that had bootloop issues :(

Was it v9 at the end of the zip name?

I tested everything from v1 to v8....v1 had everything working except texting, and was fast as heck.

Everything from v2 to v8 were just the same problems as BobZ newest build (if it booted) after fixing the build.prop for echo and reboot issue.

Now, only small bugs, such as the 1x sign and the fact that the phone doesn't vibrate when called in even in vibrate mode, and the front facing camera won't take video, other than that. Everything is perfect, the call volume is louder too :)

Sad thing is I never knew how much I would miss the vibration till it was gone also I hope bobz still working on this
 
Yea, no one has taken the time to figure out no calls vibrate on calls when in vibrate mode...none of the CM10 versions have vibrated for calls..

So the random reboots are gone? I missed a class day last time I was using CM!
But man, I sure miss it!

Those have been fixed for awhile, 4/28 fixed the reboots by using the F kernel but caused a bunch of random crashes because it wasn't allocating enough ram to the dalvik vm, adding those lines back in from the previous roms fixes it, there's a flashable build.prop a few pages back.
