The mic issue is a known problem that is being looked into...
You have to understand that when companies like LG release source code, they don't have to release drivers. The drivers we are using are from FRO-YO, yet you are running GingerBread with this ROM. Developers do the best they can to get things to run as good as possible. More than likely the mic and screen lag will be an issue until a phone with similar parts as the Optiums comes out with GingerBread pre-installed from LG Until then, be happy your phone is running an OS that most new phones don't have yet
Enjoy,
Bob

That "roaming indicator off" is going to be the death of me...lolJust flashed the rom and its pretty smooth so far.. gonna play with it a little more to see other stuff.. no screen lags now.. but the banner still says "roaming indicator off"
The option for reboot recovery is not working.. just reboots when u select reboot recovery

NOTE: You need to have an ext partition on your sd card with my ROM, because Darktremor Apps2SD automatically moves the dalvik to the ext partition. DO THIS WITHIN CLOCKWORKMOD and be sure to back up the card to a PC first! It's not necessary to format the card every time you flash a new build.
NOTE 2: If you end up having issues, always go back and try wiping. Start fresh and see if things don't improve.
NOTE 3: It'll take awhile for everything to settle down. Especially after installing gapps and syncing accounts. Give it a few minutes to settle and reboot a couple times. The system will speed up after that.

Helpful Tips
Overclocking is available in Settings --> CyanogenMod settings --> Performance --> CPU settings. Tweak it as you like, but know this: not all OV's were created equally.

Yes, compiled with kernelUse my eri.xml file man you can make the banner say whatever you want! Where did you get the updated drivers from? Compiled with the kernel?

Extract this file: VD_Drivers.zip into ~/android/lg/MS690_kernel/drivers/video/msm/
Happy building
EDIT: What eri file?
Is your phone new?I did that...
Is your phone new?
start terminal and type:
su
then type:
dmesg | grep novatek
then type:
dmesg | grep hitachi
Let me know which command gave you back info and which command yielded no output.
Thanks,
