Root [ROM][WIP]CM7.2.0 RC1-BobZ

Just built a kernel with those video drivers...damn they work great. THANK YOU! Where did you dig those up man?

I'm not sure why your screen is inverted, try PlayfulGod's version to see if you get same results. Reppard will probably post a new build either tonight or tomorrow...he now has the secret ingredient for his recipe ;)
But if I was a betting man...I believe you may have issues with the new drivers that fix the lag issue.

ok so i flashed playfulgods newest version , everything is perfect, the screen animations work and all. i just dont understand why this rom wont work...?

playfulgod do you know why my screen shows up as inverted colors like your first version of the 9-7-11 version of your rom?(that you fixed)

I didnt use the drivers bob n reppard did, I just enabled msm_logo ;)
 
Ok I tested the new version everything seems to work flawless I didn't mess with much but the CPU settings and they work good, the screen animations now work, (absolutely no screen lag) the only problem is that damn roaming indicator, but other then that flawless build Bob.
 
also mjust flashed this last night, tryed downloading swipe and noticed that the Unknonw sources thing wont stick!!! is there something i missed? other that that, my phone is way doper than when i bought it!! :D

also, my mms wasnt working, so i flashed reppards MMS fix and it now works!

I have a2sd pre-installed, so it probably put your keyboard in the ext partition. Just move it to your phone and it will work fine! If you have an issues or FC with an app, 90% of the time you can fix it by moving it to the phone. Try to keep system apps, widgets, keyboard, and apps you use every day on your phone ;)

Definitely true. Found out the hard way... Some apps just have to stay on phone not sd

su

then type:
dmesg | grep novatek

then type:
dmesg | grep hitachi

Let me know which command gave you back info and which command yielded no output.

Mine responded to Hitachi so... What effect would it have using your ROM? I have had it got awhile and haven't noticed anything yet that's drastic.

Sorry for double post if a mod can merge please.

On the OV(Virgin Mobile version) the Hitachi screen doesn't boot(stays black).
What ROM are you using?
 
Any idea why the "Corporate" mail setup doesnt work?

I attemped to setup my work account and it does not finish.

It worked fine on 2.1, Sense ROM 2.2, and the original CM7-Beta.
