You are wrong, Tweek has verified that the recovery I made works on the OM too. I dont know who flashed what, but I can tell you this they flashed a the wrong recovery, as was not made for the Optimus M nor Optimus C.

If it didnt work on the OM, trust me I wouldnt have posted that it would work.
 
You have to flash the new recovery manually...check playfulgods thread for proper instructions and how-to guides. Its an awesome recovery to have.
 
i use CWM on my ascend.. some very nice features.. like being able to pick which part of a backup you want to restore.. like.. flashing a new rom and being able to restore all ur user data.. text messages and all that.. dont have to make a backup of each one seperately like the GNM recovery... main one that pops off the top of my head.. may have to flash PlayfulGods and give it a go

09-2-11:

  1. Sync'd up with CM
  2. Updated to Blarf's repo: Camera geo tagging fixed
  3. Removed Market from build(grab custom Gapps from download area(below), if you want the old market)
  4. Kernel v2: a)Added: Over Clocking b)Removed: No physical keyboard

PLEASE, post problems with only installation of my ROM and Gapps. I don't want feed back from things not working after flashing other kernels.

EDIT: Can someone test to see if Mms works, before flashing the Mms fix?

I can hear my wife talking to me, but she can't hear me when I talk. So, something in the ROM that reads the fact that the headset it plugged in (I do get the little icon in the notifications bar that the headset is attached) isn't set right and it isn't allowing outgoing voice over the headset.

Thank you, I'll try it out. Does this include the fix for the MetroPCS instead of saying Roaming Indicator Off?

I was half way thru my build when I remember, I believe the overlay's get pulled at the end of the build, so I think it is fixed...but I'm not 100% sure.

Well, ok, I flashed it using ROM manager and it didn't work. Or more to the point, my wifi didn't work once I booted into the phone. I kept getting an error when I'd going into wifi settings and try to put a check into the check box to turn it on.

That's weird that wifi worked in first build and not in this build :confused: we'll have to see after more feed back.
Anyway, is everything else working? mms? is Roaming Indicator gone?

is there any better way to get rid of the lockscreen lag? i have tried live wallpaper and also changing the min cpu speed to 312. but still irritates a lot sometimes. also how to get the rock kernel and flash it??

I know you asked otherwise, but flashing r.O.C.K fixes the wifi issues and I think that fact may help you diagnose the problem.
