I'm flashing again, this time from with-in CWM recovery, rather than from RM. I wiped all and then flashed. No joy. Wi-fi still no worky. Also, the Roaming Indicator is still there. No joy on MMS either. Sorry. I'm restoring my back up of the earlier version.
 
Only thing that doesn't work, is the camera , wifi works with reppards kernel and the mms fix works. And the screen lag issue has been touched up. I hated that damn screen lag but now I can handle it with the 7.2 version.

Well for this rom all I did was flash reppards mms fix. But I'm not even using this one, I'm using playfulgods version until this gets fixed up.

Playfulgods version has the lockscreen issue a little under control so its a little bit faster .

Ah. Ok. I haven't flashed PG's version yet, 'cause that one doesn't have a working camera. Thanks for the reply about MMS.

Ok I flashed this and found, that you can overclock the CPU using setcpu, but not in the cyanogenmod settings.

The service indicator still says "roaming indicator off"

MMS will not send, its been over 8 minutes now.

And i was thinking why don't you just take the version blaxican founded and work on that for the fixed indicator and give him some credit.
 
I have a question about the CyanogenMod Update Notifications. I'm trying to register to get push notifications of new versions, and everytime I hit register, I get a Registration Failed error. Is this disabled in this ROM? I do have a internet connection over wi-fi.

I have a functioning ROM right now. I'm using this ROM, reppards over clock kernel, the mms fix patch provided by playfulgod and the Dark Tremor a2sd scripting. And, the Metro banner is there instead of the Roaming Indicator Off thanks to what was provided by blaxican.

MMS does work. People have mentioned that it takes 3 or 4 bars to be able to send an MMS message. Seems to be true. It also took 5 to 8 minutes or so to send my wife a picture from my phone. It took her about the same to send me a picture. So, its functional, but slow for me. My CPU is set to 768 max and 245 min. I'm using setCPU, and I let it automatically set the min/max.

I took Playfulgod's suggestion and installed ADW launcher, and am using a live wallpaper. That seems to cut back tremendously on the screen lag.

Battery life seems pretty good too. I haven't used it like I would use my computer, but an occasional look at email, using the phandroid app, looking at facebook, etc, and I'm down to 18%. I did have it on the car charger for a bit, but that only took it up 2% the whole time I was driving. This is after taking it off the charger at 2 this afternoon (it's currently 10:30 PM). While I was at home earlier in the day, I had it hooked to the charger.

Overall, I really do like this ROM. Obviously there's room for improvement, but overall, it functions well. Thank you to all who have provided time and effort to work on this. It is greatly appreciated by all.:D

The OM, OC, or any prepaid phone isnt supported by CM, so you wouldnt get any pushed updates anyhow from CM.

On my DX I get notifications from RM about updates of CM74DX. And one koush builds n merges the official build of CWM for the OM/C, I will have my stuff available in RM.

His did you get the banner fixed with this rom. ? I thought if you flashed blaxicans it was a different ron?
 
Not sure why but i'm no longer getting the screen on lag o.O?
All i've done is run the battery calibration app and text message.
This ROM is turning into a dream <3
 
I've been on battery for about 9.5 hours (with about 40 min on the car charger) and i'm down to 13%. I have used it quite a bit to reload apps (on wi-fi) and I streamed my church service for a little while this morning. I've gotten on to the phandroid app and used skyfire a little bit today as well. I like the life I've gotten from this battery and ROM.
