Very excited! I finally flashed cm7 Successfully! I am running Bobs lazy build. However, I was wondering if there is a way to overclock past the 672? I want to see if my phone will handle a little more. Thanks.
also my signal bars are really low or sometimes not even there now after flashing. Is there a fix for that? Thanks again!

There is a another Bob's one that can do 710mhz.

not quite, but the file on the phone determines what towers it looks for. That goes for all cell phones.

slide your finger across the statusbar.Does anyone know how to make status bas brightness to work? I enable it under status bar tweaks but it wouldn't do anything

Can i use setcpu to go a bit higher without having to reflash? I boot looped when I tried to flash 06242011. Do you think Bobs 710 will work? Maybe my phone could handle like 691 or by some miracle 710!

chances are if your phone wouldnt boot my 0624 it wont boot bobs 710 version either.Ok, so that means I would have to flash the 710 build to get higher CPU. My phone still seems so slow

lets say you are getting 1 bar to none and you need to get good signal from a closer tower, and a way to get that good signal will be updating your PRL.

If you tried Bobz and playful build and it got stuck on the red screen than your phone would fall under the lazy ascend, but if it past the red screen and boot up fine than you can try to turn cpu up to 710 but dont set it on boot just incase your phone starts rebooting on its own.

After last night's flash, mine does too. Took 3 attempts to flash 0624, but the third time took. I've been rebooting it all day trying to get it to hangup on the boot screen, but it's running like a champ OC'd at 672 smartass.

Ok, lol I got stuck on pg's blue android screen well it kept booting through the whole army GI Joe stuff but on bobs I got past red screen and it installed no probs. I have it oc'd to 672 but there's no option to go higher since its the lazy ascend build. I thought maybe my phone can handle 691, and that I could use setcpu to do it. Is that possible, or am I reaching here? A lot of this lag may be from a poor signal and I haven't figured out how to apply DTs apps2sd feature.Do I need to partition my card for that? I read that its within this cm7 build but its not working on its own because i cant move all my apps.

672 is a nice, stable speed. Your phone can mostly handle 691, but it starts getting unstable and just plain irritating.

i install this today, and i keep getting double messages and my phone be lagging(i overclock it to 672) and there anyway i can stop getting double messages and have my phone run smooth?

I have a Cricket ascend running this ROM 0624. My text messages have not came through for the past four days. Can I call customer service or is there a fix here on the forum that I can't find?
Hey guys I felt compelled to join this forum after following your awesome instructions on getting my phone modded I am currently running Bob's 7/08 build or update to Isaac's. I wanted to thank you all for all your hard work my phone runs great at 710 MHz everything works and has out the box. So again thank you Issac,playfulgod bobz and the rest of you geniuses putting workin on this mod

Dial *228.If that doesn't help,by all means,dial 611 & talk to a customer service rep.They should be able to resolve your SMS/MMS issues.

yes your sd card needs to be partition so the dta2sd will work, make sure you have a class 4 sd card if you planning on moving the dalvik.
