man!!!!!!!!!!1.03 those guys are fast. will be updating in a sec.

Yeah they are! I downloaded it yesterday. This whole rom is awesome! I visited the HTC Hub and downloaded all kinds of sounds, themes, etc. As I read somewhere else, Sprint bombed when they didn't update to this version of Sense. It blows the latest OTA out of the water! I feel like I have a brand new phone. :D

all right guys so it looks like evokings just dropped the alliance rom, check the op. it looks like it uses mikg rom as the base. looks good. gonna have to try this sometime today.

guys...any dev roms and kernel for samsung galaxy mini...thanks

AF forum has two threads for it so far...nothing of note except how to root it.

Saw a kernel developed on xda...its here

Custom ROM/Kernel for Samsung Galaxy Mini (GT-S5570) - xda-developers

xda is likely your best bet right now so just google samsung galaxy mini rom xda and see what happens

also look here...ooh this one is a modded rom from the guy that made the kernel, likely comes with the kernel i didnt read it all...

I've recently flashed VirusRom Kingdom Revolution w/Sense 3.0 and since then I haven't been able to download any apps. It seems that I have low memory yet I have 3GB free on the SD card. I assume there is a different type of memory but I haven't been able to figure out how to free up space. Can someone please help? By the way, Sense 3.0 is SICK!

I agree. this rom is amazing. but as you are finding put your internal memory will suffer. so follow these directiond and re-download your rom:To Partition SD card and Flash KINGDOM Guide :D - xda-developers. this will partition your card and you will have more space available.

Is the process for flashing Amon recovery the same as flashing a ROM? Nandroid backup, wipe, etc?

no, it is actually done through hboot(bootloader). it uses a PC36IMG.zip file to install the recovery. you can grab amon ra 2.3 here:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/259446-clockwork-amon-ra-pc36img-files.html
you basically need to:
1.download amon ra 2.3
2.rename it. basically delete the amon_ra2.3 part in the name so that it is just named "PC36IMG". do not add a ".zip" as windows hides extensions
3.transfer the file to the root(no folders) of the sd card
4.power off then press and hold power+vol down
5.hboot will scan for the file automatically
6.if it is named correctly and moved to the root of th sd card then hboot should see it.
7.select yes to update
8.select no to not reboot as you need to go to recovery
9.in recovery select backup and restore
10. make a nandroid backup. backup the first three that are already marked and make at least one backup with your wimax keys. (if you loose them they are gone for good)
11.now you can reboot if you choose to.

hope that helps.

Looks a little scary but... I'll give it a shot. Thanks

well it looks scary. but if you can root your phone, you can switch recoveries. the hardest part is renaming it and placing the file on the root of the card.

When you put it that way it sounds a little simpler. Do I absolutely have to use Amon instead of Clockwork to partition the SD card?

no you do not, but amon ra is a much better recovery then cwm. i think it does a much better job at wiping then does cwm so you tend to have less issues. but that is up to you.
