the megaupload link for zzzvr_superwipe is not working (at least for me) is there another 'official' download link for it?
What widget are you talking about? Been on MikG for a long time and haven't noticed anything crazy.
Also did you flash any themes/mods?
chronotopia app its not on market but u can find it on xda..only flashed mikg, no themes or mods, gave it a little time and started added widgets and noticed it.

Ok kids, I've got another quick question. Got MikG 2.58 going and love it. Card is partitioned. Loads of internal storage left over. Memory is low. Probably should have done SWAP??? Battery life is sucking though!!! Got Juice Defender running and I've force closed obvious things to help. Any thoughts or advice to help battery life??? I'm totally sick of being tied to my cord! Thanks!
P.S., probably a thread for this but i couldn't find it. Move me if that's the case!!

well like frenchy said i would try a custom kernel along with what nick said as well, except for the extended battery part. i hate those. they really take a way from the beauty of the evo. it is really a good looking phone. plus that is sort of dishonest way of getting a battery from sprint. but that is up to you. i woud start out with the aggressive freedom kernel and give it a few days.
There is plenty you can do in the battle for more battery life. Simple things like turning auto-sync off, auto-screen brightness off (keep mine around 40%), flashing a kernel that allows you to over/underclock and using SetCPU in conjunction w/ a screen off profile, and only using 3g when necessary (sending emails, MMS, browsing the web, etc.). With mobile data (3g) off, keep in mind you can still send/receive SMS and make voice calls.
Doing these simple things can increase battery life exponentially. With light use I can get 3 1/2 days on one charge, with moderate usage (check emails periodically, send texts, and voice calls here and there) I can get 2 days; no problem. I have a stock battery btw.
I hope this helps.
Get rid of Juice Defender, does more harm that good, IMO. If you are constantly killing those apps you are wasting more battery because they will just start up again, less battery to leave them run then to have them constantly starting up all the time.
Google battery saving tips for evo and you should find a bunch of suggestions. There are a lot of things you can do. See this thread on a possible way of getting a free extended battery. I did it and got a free extended battery.

Well actually this battery isn't too big, so it doesn't look that bad. I was worried about that as well. Right now I'm back on the stock battery because I like my holster.
Not sure how it's dishonest, couldn't be closer to the truth and they know it which is why they give them to you. Not once did I ever lie to them about my battery life and not once did I ask them to give me one for free. I've been with sprint, going on 8 years now and have never paid my bill late, so I'm sure they took all that into account when they decided to give it to me. The battery life on the evo has never been good. I have heard they are getting a little pickier about giving them out, however.
+1 on the aggressive freedom, I just flashed lithid 0.95 today and huge +1 on giving it a few charge cycles.
Wow, you guys are quick!! Here we go....
@frenchy, Thank you very much. Part of the obvious suspects were Brightness (25%), AutoSync (off), NEVER have the 4G on cause I don't have 4G IN the house! , all my "Settings" have been set to minimal!! It's just since I flashed MikG 2.58 that battery is sucking. Probably the Kernel as you all have said! I also have the stock battery because... well, I'm not paying Sprint or anyone else a thin dime on a battery the size of Cleveland. Ain't happening! I will deal with this one!!
@nick, Thank you also! 86ing Juice Defender, although I had it running with the previous ROM and not an issue but will 86 it anyway! Thanks for the thread, I will check it out! +1 on the not being dishonest. Sprint doesn't tell you, when selling the phone, that the battery sucks! I have also been a Sprint customer like forever. I have 3 phones on my plan and pay $200+ every month so the least they can do is cough up a battery! Not sure I want the big battery though, even for free. I agree with Ocean, I like the phone thin! Also, I can't use my Otter Box and I can't afford not too! My arthritis fingers drop my phone all the time! Otter Box saved my phone one night. Out on a "Bar hopping" binge one night and slammed the trunk shut ON MY PHONE at 3:00 a.m.!! Opened the trunk, as fast as a blottoed person could, and my phone was fine!! Not giving up the Otter Box! Haha!
@Ocnbrze, Thank you, again!!! I have a few Kernels downloaded. I have ChopSuey 9.1 Universal, More Freedom 0.9 Universal, and Tiamat 4.1.0. If you think one of those is sufficient, let me know. If you still feel that Agressive Freedom is better, I will download and flash that! I will need to read up on SetCPU because I don't know what settings to use and I don't want to screw it up. I will read about that.
Thanks all and have a great day!!!
Party on Garth, Party on Wayne!!!!

OK, totally frustrated because the code I was given is saying invalid in revolution. tried entering it at least 20 times now. verified all characters in notepad to make sure I wasn't entering a lower case l as a uppercase i etc... have had three other people enter it and still invalid. can we get a new code somehow. tried to regenerate and the same beta code keeps coming up.
im guessing it is not working because i tried it on my mac in virtual box last night and it did work at that time but revolution kept throwing errors that it was loosing communication with my evo during the process so i gave up and moved to my windows 7 netbook. would love to get this taken care of as I had to unroot the device after having cyanogen on it because I lost some functions with voice mail. wanted to quickly back up some files and restore to root and cyanogen but didn't realize gingerbread broke unrevoked. what a pain. i hate windows.
Lots of people have had this problem but try copy and paste that seems to solve it. There is a spot at the top left corner on the doss box that when clicked there is a drop menu to edit then paste
