I wouldn't put your card in her phone unless you format it, but that will mean erasing it....

this is what it has told me so far on steps 7 8 9

the phone rebooted into reccov

i rebooted it shouldi keep going

And those 2 files, the mtd and flash_image are on the "root" of your sd card? Not in any folder?

Just making sure, because it appears its not "seeing" that file

soon as you open it to view the files they are right there


so why is it i have tried this so many ways an with a diff card an still not working even after wiping card and doing it again still not working

hmmm...just throwing this out there, are you using the same usb cord?
Maybe try another cord?????

And for the simple fact I am out of ideas, here's my logic....your cord was starting to go bad but you made it thru with doing your phone.
Now the cord totally crapped out on you and wont transfer data thru it.
Maybe? Got another cord you can use/try?
