I am looking for the following (I don't mind paying if it is a good widget)
- I've tried a couple of calendar apps, but none grab me. The stock HTC one is OK, but would like something a bit prettier if possible?
Rooted HTC Desire with LeeDroid 2.2f custom ROM. Wallpaper is Colours from Zedge.
Lock Screen - Widget Locker to customise. With ClockR and BattStatt

Alarm Clock Plus screen (if you set the alarm and want the lock screen)

2nd Left- PowerAMP Widget

1st Left - News Feed (with chosen RSS feed), Weather Widget, FotMob Widget (for Sport)

Central Home Screen - Camera, Gmail Widget (with counter for emails), Handcent SMS widget (with counter for SMS), Dolphin HD Browser. The clock is Clockr, and Postit (for quick notes).

1st Right Screen - Facebook App (i've deleted the status), Tweetdeck Bar, Facebook app, Sync All Widget, WiiFinder, Tweetdeck

2nd Right Screen - Extended Controls (add widgets for bluetooth, Wifi, Silent, Vibrate, 3G, Network, and much more), BattStatt, AudioManager

Far Right Screen - Calendar App

Look forward to seeing yours guys. And any recommendations for widgets would be great.

+1 for Android agenda widget.
You can fully customize its appearance and there are lots of widget styles available so you should be able to create something you like

might already have been covered but has anyone tried Spark?

*Spark My Phone

"Android homescreens can end up pretty personal places to swipe around, as users build up their preferred layout of widgets and shortcuts, but now Hiplogic wants to make things even more unique. Their new *Spark homescreen system borrows some of HTC Sense, MOTOBLUR and other Android UIs, pulling in weather, social networking sites and news into a single, geo-aware place".

Just checked out the site/reviews/vids and for some reason it doesn't seem to interest me. Doesn't have enough features and ability to customize is not as intensive as ADW nor LP+

Just gave it a quick go..........And well, its awful, extremely laggy, and just not customizable atall, not that I'm an expert at these things but in my opinion its far from a complete package, would not recommend atleast until its been optimised quite a bit more.

yep, i had a quiet 5 minutes so i thought i'd give it a go.

simple but slow. definitely not in the same league as LP or ADW but if you want a simple screen layout it might be OK but only when it's been updated.

How did u make your app drawer transparent? Is this a LP+ feature? Is it worth upgrading to LP+ what's the benefits people

That's not an LP feature, adbird is using either ADW or touchwiz since the drawer is horizontal scrolling...I'm thinking ADW since I don't believe touchwiz' drawer is transparent.

To Roze and Rebel, I'm actually using Dell Stage launcher. It is a completely different launcher, with widgets and side scrolling launcher that you scroll down to access

Here's my set up. I've tried various combinations of 3, 4, 5 and 7 homescreens and have come to the conclusion that I'm not really into having a whole bunch of widgets or icons cluttering up the place, so for now I'm down to just 3 screens.

1)Lockscreen - using WidgetLocker and Typo Clock (a blatant ripoff of Le3ky's lockscreen which he describes here)

2)Home screen centre - using LauncherPro Plus, Digital Clock Widget, Beautiful Widgets Weather 4x1 and Folder Organizer (with the following icon sets for the folder icons: blacklight, Blackxeth Icons, and Blackxeth Icons 2, all available in the Market)

For the dock, I've got Le3ky's UberCon text icons, along with a dock background and app drawer icon from LauncherPro Icons

3) Home screen centre w/ alternate dock. BTW, I can't remember exactly where I got the wallpaper, but I think it was on nationalgeographic.co.uk

4) Left screen - using LP Plus' Calendar widget and the stock Power Control widget.

5) Right screen - using LP Plus' Friends widget
