I'm the same, my other half refers to the phones as "the other woman" haha

and I never noticed the username...that just makes it worse lol

The dock needs to be 480x84.
The icons should be 84 high by 96 wide MAX at 96 wide they would be touching each other. I used photoshop, created the dock, sectioned it off as 5x 96 sections using vertical guides and resized my icons to fit the space to a size I was happy with.

Rasta how do you display Facebook birthdays? I can't seem to do it and it would be handy. And which calendar app do you use.

Ok thanks I might give it a try sometime.

If you press menu in calendar, then select calendars. Facebook should be an option.

thats only for sense i think or if you have some 3rd party app that plugs into it

the way i do it is by going on to facebook > click on events > bottom of the screen click birthdays > bottom of screen click export birthdays.
you will see a webcal link. copy this and go to calendar.google.com and sign in

you should see a section that says "other calendars" click on the arrow next to it and "add by url".
once done do a calendar sync on your device and you can see them there

i use go calendar widget cos its free

that wont work for me, keeps coming up saying it cant do it? never mind. ill find a way.

where does it say it cant do it? in google calendar via the website (not the app)
make sure you do it on a computer and not the phone
its not import, you must choose add url

done it loads of times now and its still not working, i found an app instead. ill have a go another day.

just tried again and i just clicked the link and it took me straight to g-calendar and its stayed there, its not synced yet but ill keep my fingers crossed.

I didn't get on with webcal either. It just wouldn't show up in calendars to add.

In the end I downloaded ebo birthday and for me found it a much better solution.

well using google chrome i just right clicked and "copy link address"

then in google calender went to other calendars clicked the down arrow on the right side of it and clicked "add by url". pasted the link clicked ok and bam its there

EDIT: just tested it again with all events and it deffo works

Well I added webcal, but its not showing up in calendar at all but suddenly all birthdays are showing up in a1 calendar (i think that's what's its called) and webcal is showing up in calendars settings. Weird one, I got a birthday app anyway and friendcaster always pops up with who's birthday it is. So if I miss anyone's I'm just being plain lazy, or ignorant. Lol

A bit of a hodgepodge of styles.

=) you're to blame! You've set me off on an obsessive path. When the wife divorces me, I'm naming YOU as the reason =)

She sounds like my missus. She said there should be a support group for people like us.

Androids Anonymous....
