I flashed everything except the PRL and my signal still jumps back and forth from 3g to 1x. I have yet to experience a radio error, but I'm just wondering if flashing the PRL would help with the signal jumping. I attempted to do it by installing QPST, but when I dialed ##3424# on my phone nothing happened and I wasn't able to find the port for the next step.

dial codes on work for sense based roms, but what i did was i updated it ota to 61009, love it :D
 
Mobster ROM is still Sense based, isn't it? I know most of the Sense theme has been removed from it, but I was under the impression it was still Sense based. I'm running the final version.
 
I don't think it matters whether it's 3g 4g or if you're even on wifi. If you notice, the service bars (next to 3g, 4g, or 'wifi bars') will seem to shoot up all the way full then go to nothing then (if you have service) go to whatever your service is, probably a few bars.

I flashed all of this stuff, S-Off, the whole shabang - running Midnight Rom.

Leslie Ann, I had some trouble with the QPST part, though I did manage to get it all. If I may make a suggestion, if someone cannot find their phone when they go to 'Add New Port', tell them to uncheck the option that says 'Show Serial and USB/QC Diagnostic port only'. I could not find my phone, and the only option for me was COM1 - Serial. When I unchecked this box, a new option appeared that was 'COM4' and this was the option for my phone. If you make a note of this in your steps it might save someone some confusion and headache that I had to sift through. Just a suggestion :D But it all worked great for me! Thanks a bunch for the write up and files!!

*Also, maybe note that QPST MAY NOT show you have a phone and a port (in the bottom left corner) until you select your phone in 'Add New Port'.
 
I uninstalled QPST and reinstalled it. My phone still doesn't show up on the active phone screen and it says 0 phones at the bottom. When I dial ##3424# nothing shows up on the computer and the phone rings a while and says invalid number or something along those lines. As I said i'm running the final version of Mobster ROM, is that the problem, or am I missing something?

Try adding a phone, also if Mobsters can go into Diagnostic mode then it will work, if not, then no, it won't. I have heard it will and and I have heard it won't.

Also, go back a page or two, someone posted just the diagnostic drivers.
 
I remember flashing all this before. Did the Radio get updated? And if so does it no longer have the text message issue?
 
Yeah, since the last radio update my wife and I have not had any messaging errors while we were still having a few with the last radio
Still get some dropped calls but I'm guessing that's not the phones fault
 
Can I flash just the radio while using Mobsters ROM or do I need a stock ROM? And how do I back up a radio for just in case something goes wrong?
 
Thanks updated it now. Will let you know how it goes. Hope this gets rid of the dam text message problem. If it does then I shall be happy.
 
just wanted to chime in and say that I performed the radio and PRI updates and (not to jinx myself) I haven't gotten a radio interference error yet! I completed the updates last night and have been texting plenty today. I was getting them pretty frequently before so this definitely helps!
 
HTC Diag doesn't show up in my device manager. I guess Mobster ROM doesn't support it? I tried to post and ask him about it and he deleted it.
