Root Unbrick/Unroot LG Optimus F7 (Boost Mobile)

I had problems after using rooting my phone where it would restart on the touch of a hyperlink or while using a share feature. it drove me nuts so I just factory data reset my phone through settings and rooted it with framaroot.apk Gandalf exploit then installed closed framework and mods. now works beautifully
 
I tried flashing on windows 7 and that worked until my computer died and my phone is now stuck in download mode. I tried taking the battery out, but when I out it back in it just enters download mode again.

How long did you leave the battery out for? Try the flashtool again. Not a good sign if it goes into download automatically.
 
Yah, as soon as I turn it on or put the battery back in it goes strait to the download mode screen. I have never used the flash tool to get back to stock.
 
Hi we recently got two new phones after saving for 6mo (lg-f7 boost).
In the first hour at home I rooted and had a recovery partition on mine.
I made a nandroid backup moved it off the phone and was setting up all the menu items.
When after what seemed to be a hundred pop ups for their zv5 update, I figured would be a good time to do it. Then it rebooted
 
I uploaded a zip that contains everything needed (tot, dll, drivers, flashtool, megalock.dll) to unbrick/revert back to stock software for the US Cellular (US780) variant. The tot is the most up to date software version available, which is version 11a.

Again this is for the US Cellular (US780) variant, do not try using this on Boost Mobile (LG870), Korean (F260s), or any other variant. If sammyz is still around and could update the OP with this that would be great.

There is a small guide included which is a modified version of the OP. If anyone trys using this let me know if anything doesn't work.
 
hay i have two of these phones is there away to just copy one to the other or something?. am having issues downloading this gig file at home because am teathering my phone to my comp for internet access and coverage is a bit spotty and text messages cause it to think the zip is finshed when it still had an hour left to download
 
Okay, I am having a problem with the LG Flash Tool it says LG USB/Parallel Lock key is not detected. Then it prompts for country and log in information, followed by authentication failed. Please someone tell me where did I go wrong? I am usually very good at reading and understanding directions but this has got me stumped. Please help me bring my phone back!!

Read the readme file included with the LG flash tool zip.
 
Okay so i managed to unbrick the phone but it says its on the chamelion network or something like that not boost mobile. Also after i figuer that out ca some one tell me how to switch this phone out for the other (activation under an existing account)

Let it activate itself if it's already connected to a boost account. If it
It's not, activate the phone online.
