[Verizon] [ROM][4.0.4] AOKP ICS B40/M6/Mods (7/8)

B35 Toro & Gapps are in GooManager. Loading into a slot now. :-)

Should be gapps-ics-20120429.zip

Loaded into Slot perfect. The Unicorn boot time seems drastically reduced. Gapps are still kind of striped. No Gmail as rumored elsewhere. No prob. Going in to play around now.

Last 1st impression report before I give it a full setup = Everything seems faster as the shortened boot unicorn time hinted eh?

I also noted in the Status bar font size change settings it swapped in half the usual time. Shes snappy folks. Stock kernel.

Maybe instead of flashing the stock kernel (Faux's 16 mainline) you could just flash Imo's kernel again, but not do the tweaks you had done (unless your not partial to Imo's kernels). See if you have the issue. Then start tweaking slowly as you did from jmar's post and see if you can catch the culprit

Thanks jbdan, great advice. At least it's not as involved as a full wipe..;)

I'm on 35. The only difference I see is the "theme" selector button. I don't see any way to d/l them though. I guess that part isn't set up yet.

Dirty flashed from M5 and all looks good. First thing I noticed like Gapi said is that it is very responsive. I only have one theme in theme chooser and its the current one. I do like the Sense 4 style Task switcher.

OP updated with 5 theme engine themes for B35 go have fun theme-ing!

edit: make that 6 themes, they're spreading like wildfire

double edit: make that 7 theme engine themes :p

yeah: make it 8

What about getting back to the default Theme?

The "system" theme is the default. BUT, what I want to be able to do is have a theme that's the default system but with the ICS colors for nav bar and LED. I guess it's not too much trouble to set them back again, but kind of annoying if I try out different themes but want to go back to my "stock" preferred colors for LED and nav bar (which happen to be the same colors as the stock dBm/clock/etc).

What about getting back to the default Theme?

I haven't installed B35 yet. But the way the Theme Chooser has always worked in the past is that the stock theme was called "system theme" so you just apply that theme. I'm not sure how they implemented it in B35 since I have yet to run it. Since you're on it you could tell us ehh? :)

I don't see system theme in the list is why I ask. I would hate to get stuck out side of it. A nandroid would solve that though. Perhaps it will not show in the list until a theme is applied?

What theme apk's have you installed and what does it show now? Nothing?

Just backed up M5 and flashed B35. First thing I did was enable sense recents :D. Am looking forward to some more theme chooser themes. Haven't flashed any themes recently because it bugs me when my Prime and my phone don't have the same UI. Now there won't be that problem :)

Not broken, just not enabled by default. Just wanted to clarify :)

As its been on past builds. Gawh there will be hundreds of folks thinking this is broken. I know the devs are kicking themselves that having mtp on was missed lol.

So is the whole point of the theme engine that we can swap themes "on the fly" instead of nandroid/flash? Seems nice, but perhaps not particularly useful just yet...I'm definitely curious to see what happens in a few days though...

None of those themes are for flashing and aren't risky enough to require a nandroid...
