[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

I found an issue on 2.3. When ur in a call and u have the keypad and/or speakerphone on and u want to put the phone back up to ur ear the screen doesn't shut off, so ur cheek starts dialing numbers.

I have zenith soft keys, cobalt blue theme, ubuntu font.

i do not believe this is a bug. if you have the dialpad or speaker phone up. than it is assumed you are looking at phone and not using at the ear.

due to how easy it is for your hand passing over the sensor and shutting of the screen when pressing the on screen numbers it is turned off so the screen doesn't disappear when your trying to type in something.

But on previous versions as soon as you put it up to your ear the screen would shut off, no matter if the speakerphone or dial pad were on. The only time this situation arises is when u dial an 800 number, like if ur calling tech support for some reason.

I really prefer this way but will look at it maybe we can make it an option.
 
Must be having a brain f**t. Trying to add or replace a toggle on the pull-down. Right now I have WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, then something that looks to enable screen auto rotate (Don't need that, I want it on auto), vibrate, and sync toggle. I would rather control vibrate, sync and autorotate screen elsewhere and have a handy airplane mode toggle there instead. Can't seem to find how to do it. Would appreciate help. :confused: Yes, I have airplane on power menu but would also like one on pull down toggles.
Edit: Nemind. Got it. Got--to--get--more---coffee-------------zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

the toggles are under magic control. toggles and in that section you cna pick the ones you want to show
 
Anybody having foreclose issues with the browser? Also when the dial menu is on, there is no option to do full screen.

Sorry if it was mentioned before.

during the discussins of people saying it wont. i saw some people saying make sure to put check marks in the stuff that comes up when you first install it. so maybe taking a check mark out of the part that mentions backup/restore will stop it???

You are correct Sir, uncheck the "allow Google to keep device updated" (or something like those words) when you first sign in to the Play Store will keep it from downloading the apps. Im in a 1 bar 3G area (110 -120 dbm... Live in a valley on the wrong side of a big 'ol hill.) so I use TiBu to reinstall every time. When I head to town I go to account settings and change it then I let it sync updates if any are needed.
So far, no problems.....I think

browser during for me. The option to do full screen is in the power menu, when turned on
 
OK - so I'm new to this phone. Love it by the way. I just came from the Rezound, which was a rock solid phone, but just never felt right to me. I ended up having memory leak problems, battery drain so they set me up with a Nexus. I should have gotten this phone originally but that's neither here nor there. Had an X prior to this (horrible) and the OG Droid. With that out of the way..........

I love this ROM. It's amazing. The customizations are unbelievable. The developers have done such a great job and do an even better job supporting this ROM. I have noticed one issue that is starting to become a problem for me - I use the voice dictation when I'm driving so I don't have to type and I have been having issues pulling this up. And when I do pull it up it's very sluggish. Is anyone else having this issue - is there a fix? Is there something I can uninstall and install? Thanks everyone.

please explain more what this is. so i can look at it. im jsut not sure what your referring to here. so i dont know what to try.
