What Brand will make the next nexus?

I agree. I'm a little biased though being that I've got a friend that works for LG. BUT the main reason why I've gotten to the point to where I stand behind LG more and more is because of what they are doing as a company. I like the moves they have been making over the past year and I like the direction they are headed as opposed to Sammy who just seems hell bent on becoming the next Apple.

I've never used a Sony phone but I don't think highly of other Sony products on the market. That's not to say that I wouldn't be interested in it though. Asus as well. Even though I despise Motorola, i wouldn't turn my nose up if they made one.


Even though I love the back glass, i wouldn't want it again. I will admit that having the back glass makes me more aware of my surroundings and aware of while I'm holding the phone, how I hold it, how I use it, etc.....So I love that part about it because I've only "dropped" my phone once and it was only from about a foot off the ground and I was bending down so I wouldn't even call it a drop. But I use the bumper and that bumper saved it from any potential damage.

I agree, that render is quite sexy. A little sharp on the corners for my taste, but I really like the extremely concave top/bottom. Very sleek overall look that I hope is aluminum instead of polycarbonite (like Samsung).

I'm still rooting for Asus, but LG is my second choice.

I couldnt tell you the last LG I seen made of metal, so it will prolly be a poly again.

If the pics out are of the real x phone, that thing is horrendous.

I compared my nexus 4 side by side with the One and the S4...Screen quality? Nexus. UI? Nexus. Sheer speed? Nexus.

I was honestly surprised by how much better my display looked when compared to the One, or the S4....neither posses the pop or wow factor a nexus 4 has. All phones set to auto brightness.

No reason you can't get the one or s4 and slap the aosp ROM from the Google edition on it. Best of both worlds.
 
I'm hoping the nexus gets made by Samsung again ...I love their tech and the innovations they have introduced...so go Samsung ...I'm on your side.


PS anyone know where to get the NG4 ...can't find anywhere ....and when does the NG5 come out ...thanks People

Any of their software developments wouldn't make it into a nexus device.

So you would pretty much end up with Samsung hardware, which is less than stellar in terms of build quality

A lot of people bash Samsung for their plastic phones, which isn't the most durable material. It also feels cheap. The glass build of the Nexus 4 isn't much better though as it is far too easy to break. HTC seems to have the most praise in terms of build quality thanks to their all aluminum design.

You'll be hard pressed to find many Samsung fans in this forum for reasons mentioned above and others I won't go into.
