Root ZTE ZMAX Pro (Z981) "off topic" root discussion

Waiti for root on this thing, would be awesome. Def the last zte device I purchase till they go back to the bootloader days...just got the Alcatel streak, ya that low spec free phone and guess what it's rootable....same with the Alcatel idol 3 and Alcatel fierce XL.. So I have my new brand. Still keeping this max pro tho, darn good device

Wow. That's news to me. When I was virus'ed many years ago on my torrent days. Avast is the only one that saved my PC without formatting it. And have been using it ever since. Never got virus'ed really bad since then. Or maybe coz I stopped torrenting too.

We have had reports of Chinese devices apparently having Chinese government censoring in them. An Onda tablet originally purchased in China, couldn't access Facebook and YouTube in the UK, because the hosts file in system had been doctored, and included a whole list of sites deemed undesirable by the CPC.

Lol this rooting forum is a bigger disaster than the phone itself. Since somebody went out of their way to ensure that Jcase will not even consider helping us now, I'm out. PM me if anybody with PayPal wants a gently used ZMAX Pro with accessories. Going on eBay within a few days. Good luck lol :D

As if jcase was going to help anyway. Get real bro, we are on our own here. If you can't live without root then you never should have bought a ZMAX to begin with knowing previous history of the ZMAX line. See ya![emoji22]

Don't bother I looked it up I don't trust them with all that info after I've already told them this would be by first and last zte phone word of advice to everybody else proceed with caution

I wasn't being grumpy in order to even sign up for that beta thing they need your imei serial number phone number everything to basically watch your every move I already posted that I wouldn't buy another phone from zte on there forums I'm just being safe I wasn't being grumpy lel I'm just telling people be careful that's all
