What is the difference between that and any VR app especially if you use with a cheap VR like I have? How did you even install it? Can't find it on playstore or online?

I ported it.. took a few months.. the games are way better in graphics cause the are for Oculus like official Minecraft VR, Netflix VR.. apps are better.. way more content exclusive to gear VR.. everything works.. I use freefly VR.. worth every penny.. paid $60 on eBay but it retails at $80.. you can youtube videos on how bad*$$ it is.. add a subpac and you have a competitor ps4 controller works great to..
I don't believe he was referring to root in regards to working with messi. I believe maybe he was trying to reach out to an experienced dev who may be able to help him pinpoint bugs and flaws in the beta so they could be reported to ZTE so the that the firmware could be fixed and released to the masses. I seriously doubt he would attempt to root the phone or share the software as I'm sure given ZTE lockdown security, they have stops in place for all these contingencies.

Any UI or feature changes? my friend who installed it told me finger print scanner work better.. don't know anything else about it.. also can we use b12 OTA to downgrade?

I tried flashing b12 over b14 last night, verification fails.

Ofcourse it will fail , you can't downgrade coz of the verification script..
Can confirm my fingerprint scanner is much more responsive and accurate as well as messaging services are improved. Also have yet to have data signal drop as was a daily occurrence on B08 and B12

You're a true blood gamer. I am a gamer but I don't splurge hundreds of dollars for it. Are you gonna post a step by step how you port gear VR on our phone? Coz I want to try it. Minus the expensive (I'm allergic to it) gadgets.

Lol.. I build and mod gadgets as a hobby. I'm big on VR gaming. Mostly cause it's a matter of time before everything will be done via vr. yes I will post instructions once I find the right combination of files.. I'm still finding bugs..I think I need to port two or 3 system files to make it work perfectly. An example is I tried installing and updating from the Oculus store. It said install failed because I was missing app installer. Found out I was missing 2 Facebook system apps cause the contract for gear VR is between Samsung, Oculus and Facebook. I stalled both system apps as regular apks then tried getting apps from the store again. This time it recognize the app installer but still fails to install. I them got Minecraft VR from a friend to test if the store apps will run as a 3rd party install. After it installed the app was on the system but not showing in the Oculus store or the app drawer. I then used an app that creates shortcuts for even system apps and made a short cut on the home screen. MC VR launched but when I actually start the gaming part it FC. I'm thinking if I find the data file for MC VR it will run the game and be functional for the most part till it's perfect.. when I exit games I get a notification about gear VR docking issue but it means nothing. It just knows I'm using Gear VR without Gear VR.. if anyone want to lend a hand porting it, my PM is lambo352@gmail.com..LOL. Have to google what a subpac is. Holy Shit

Does anyone know of a phone I can get on eBay that is similar size and specs slightly higher price and support TWRP and custom Roms and Kernals? I'm tired of this zmp

I think your best bet is the Moto G4, 5.5 inch full HD screen, same processor, 2gb of RAM at least (other models have more). The G4 Plus has a fingerprint scanner if you're interested in that

Maybe I'm just lucky but my phone has only gotten better with each update, from B08 to B12 and from B12 to B14. B12 removed data connection problems and screen glitches, and B14 made it more responsive. I still have the flashlight toggle bug, and multitouch isn't great, but I think that's about it. Has your friend tried clearing cache, either through settings or through recovery?

FTM mode is also firmware upload mode. I've never heard of it as this. I know Samsung has upload mode.

If you use the unlock phone which I did for the first time, in available networks, I see they added At&t and Verizon as options.
If you have been with metro for 90 days or more that unlock phone app should work.
