I use Google Messages. In there you can enable web messaging. Essentially, navigate to messages.google.com, scan the qr code from within the Google messages app, and you can use a web interface. I use it on Windows at work and on Chromebook at home. I can copy and paste into it no problem.

Smart Switch is a Samsung utility, to transfer data, apps, pictures, etc. from one device device to another, like for when replacing a phone.

I think you were right. After how many days, "miraculously" today both our phones started connecting normally to cell network again. So it's gotta be a Cricket issue. Thanks all for your help advice and moral support!

They're not. They are most likely on your carrier's server.

I came here from the future (2023) to tell you all that what Android calls a "compass" is really only a simulator these days. Unless you pay for a top of the line android phone - your "compass" is software, using WiFi signals and other data to simulate your location. The hardware version of a "compass" is called a magnetometer and it took me two hours of searching to figure out that my Galaxy A13 does not have one. I am disappointed because I can't contribute to CrowdMag when I only have a "simulator" on my phone. It also points to a larger looming problem with smartphones getting too smart for basic efficiency and people believing they can do things they, in fact, cannot.

Not sure which member you are asking, but this thread was started in 2020. I doubt you'll get an answer from the op. The op was talking about a fire stick. What are you trying to do?

Horseshoes has the same basic motion as tossing a bag of beans / corn or whatever they stuff the bags with. I've only tossed a corn bag once. It was set up outside an upscale burger establishment. The party I was with each took a turn for fun before entering the eatery. I lucked my toss directly into the hole. I know there is a lot more to the game than making that shot. Everyone took another shot after eating except me. Why prove my first shot was pure luck.

Back when my son was still playing baseball, a common time killer between games was to play washers. The game reminds me of cornhole and horseshoes in that you toss an object a given distance at a target. Cheap entertainment, much like horseshoes, has had a following around my area all of my life.

Seeing as Sprint no longer exists (T-Mobile bought it): Is it time to archive the Sprint section?

And how did you get around it? Will you share this knowledge?

Go through the list of installed apps to find and uninstall any suspicious Adware apps.
If you feel it difficult or it doesn't work for you, have a full backup of your data and then try 'wipe cache partition + wipde data(factory reset)' in the Recovery Mode.

I see there is Google Cast-enabled Android App and Google Cast-enabled Android TV. The first is said to be the sender and the second the receiver.
Do I have to have both of these to create an Android TV app that can be on Google Chromecast device? If yes, how do I do this?

Thanks, that's exactly what I was thinking. However I was trying to be optimistic that maybe someone since 2016 had heard of some sort of fix that could be spread from user to user. Again thanks.

I know this is a very old post, however I've been using the beautiful widget clock app ever since it came out and it was wonderful. After the new update everything works except the display of the clock. I'm not using either of the two apps that you mentioned above. Do you have any suggestions. I've also written to the developer in the app store with no reply

Ever since the new Android update, the clock portion of the widget from beautiful widgets does not work properly.

Have you tried a SIM card to make sure it's locked? We had a post here the other day about a locked Verizon phone, but there were certain prior to dates that they were unlocked.

Do not be sad, there is several other IDEs which you can use for Android Development e.g. CodeGearRAD studio - Delphi(pascal) or BuilderC++, Qt/C++ for Android, Lazarus for Android in pascal, MS VS 2022 VisualBasic Xamarin, MS VS 2022 C# MAUI Xamarin for Android, TizenDevelopmentStudio C/C++ for mobile phones + tablets + TV ... and many others. So, you can choose anything...

The stable version of the game 1.1.4 has been released on Google Play and will soon appear in the AppStore!
