[Free] [App] Salary Manager & Qaza-e-Umeri Diary

Thank you for sharing! This app is very handy. I started to spend more time managing the money I got. I started to save money to buy a house, and it was unsuccessful because I was spending all the money I was earning. I started to use the check stub maker every time I got my salary, so I could organize my spending for the whole month and save money for the first mortgage rate. Also, collecting pay stubs is helpful because I can make statistics and understand how much I am earning and how much I am spending on taxes.

Harassment on Galaxy A11 Phone

Help Android and Samsung Pros:

I have two Samsung A11 phones through Straighttalk and and a Samsung S5 that shouldn't have cell service. My cellular wireless signal is automatically connecting with incomming harassing people. (Its a criminal back door). Does anyone know how to shut down the antennas on the boot?

Put the phone in flight mode, and then restart/reboot the phone. It will boot in flight mode and not receive any signals via the antenna.

I am a root on the S5 phone. It may be some sort of secret service mode being used for criminal purposes. Wifi and airplane mode have no effect. How do I cut these guys off? Erase all of their software.. it's a hidden connection.Thank you. J Carver

As the phone is rooted, definitely reflash the firmware from a known good source, either original factory Samsung, or an appropriate and trusted open source custom ROM, e.g. Lineage OS(If available for your devices). That will erase everything. Also don't use any existing accounts that may have been compromised, e.g. Google. Make new accounts, and keep them secure, use strong passwords, two-factor logins, etc. Stay off any social media, like Fakebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.

Seeking Recommendation for Backup App or File Manager App

Your Moto's integral phone call log will be stored in a directory you don't typically have direct access to, so it's not something just any file manager app can access (there are a lot of restricted files/folders on your device that are protected for specific reasons). You might want to use the SMS Backup & Restore app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestore&hl=en_US&gl=US
As its name implies, it is primarily a utility to backup/restore SMS text messages, but it also includes the ability to save your phone call log as a separate xml/txt file.

Thank you. This helps alot.
I have been looking at the file systems on the other phones we have in our household: Moto on Android 9, Samsungs on Android 8, Samsungs on Android 10, with Solid.
Each seems to find a new place to hide (store) some of the files I wish to backup for us. Some I have not tracked down yet.
I really appreciate the help the forum members have been giving me.

why all manufacturers do not provide alert of used phones

I am happy that you see reason for every thing. I had the battery replaced at the service centre but not happy with the phone was repacked and delivered as new one. I also know that the returns has some charges for the sellers for every item users returned and he will mend himself correct.
May be somebody under him would have done this kind of repack.
My feature request comes from the experience I had thro online purchase and use it. I approached my sim provider also. They say, that they could say, when my sim was activated which would be available with them, but not at the new device. Here also user will not know, if the imei was used by some by other sim providers.

Tablet not backing up correctly

I have a generic Chinese made tablet a Mediatek TYD-108H running Android 6.0 . I have been looking at the automatic backups and something puzzles me. The tablet backs up overnight automatically OK but, when I check the backup it shows only 10 apps have been backed up. Given that I've got about 80 apps installed, I find this puzzling.

1. All apps have been downloaded off Play Store.
2. The backup shows up on Google Drive but with only 10 apps backed up. The apps backed up all seem to be Google apps + YouTube app. Nothing else.
2. I have checked via Settings on my tablet and cannot find any way at all of doing a manual backup !! I have looked in Settings/apps, Settings /Backup, and even looked in Developer options but there is no visible option to do a manual backup.

So, how do I get ALL my apps backed up on the automatic backup and how can I initiate my own manual backup ??

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Help The phone writes that there is not enough place, although it is full there. What to do?

Thank you very much for your reply! Friends came to me and helped me solve the problem. I will try to describe the solution to the problem, maybe someone will need someone. Clear the cache for the Play Market application, you can do in the phone setting. Perhaps because I work best custom writing and I install and remove a large number of diverse applications for work, the cache overwhelmed.

never drain the battery to 0% or charge to 100%?

I have had phones since they had Ni-Cd batteries.

Then came the Ni-Metal Hydride.

I actually like the Ni-Metal Hydrides, they had an outstanding lifespan.

Probably why they quit making them.

Well, that and the Li-Ion pack.a ton of power into a small size.

What you have read over time is probably all correct, in the time frame that it was written.

All of these battery chemistries have gone through changes over the course of the use of each one.

What I have told you is just what I have gathered most recently, and from my most recent devices.

Recovery instead of getting stuck?

The tutorial has received a rating of just 1.3 and following it would require disabling virus protection on computer so I'm not going to try it out.

Thanks anyway.
Well you'll still need to do what gets explained on that site (sequence of steps using the indicated buttons) in order to get into your phone's Recovery. Whether you do or don't actually connect your phone to a PC to use that indicated utility isn't a requirement. Your posted query referred to Recovery Mode for your particular phone, focus on that instead.

Android studio rename video file in internal storage

Hi All,
I am a complete newbie to android development. I have created an app which takes a 5 second video and stored it in the phones internal storage. The path is shown as "/storage/emulated/0/DCIM/camera" . However I cannot rename the file to a customized file name through code. I am doing the following in my code (assuming filename is the String containing the .mp4 file name:

File dir=new File ("/storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Camera/");
File fromfile=new File (dir,filename);
File tofile=new File(dir,"myname.mp4");
fromfile.renameTo(tofile);

What am I doing wrong? Any help will be appreciated
Thanks
