Sounds like the SD became corrupted, or has failed completely. How long have you been using it?

Updating the OS seemed to be the answer. Mine is a new tablet (but an old model which I thought was already updated). Thank you.

Funny enough I did the same thing. Reverse image search pulled through this time!Hah, I knew I'd seen it somewhere but couldn't place it!. Good catch.
Thnku,The new Realme 6i, 6 and 6 Pro look great for the money and recently went on sale in the UK via shipping.
So are you enjoying a 5i ?
Did you get a good warranty and recent updates? No information about those here.
Thanks for sharing![]()
even though it says connected it could still be the router. rebooting does nothing to your other devices. i periodically reboot my router with no issues as far as my other devices....it can't hurt and might help.I don't have "preferences" on my phone. There is "advanced Wi-Fi"; only thing "possible" is Notify whena open wi-fi- is available". I thought that meant when it finds it teels me and that's it. Perhaps not.I turned that off but it made no difference.
As for the router, it says it's connected to it so re-starting it shouldn't make a difference. And I don't want the hassle of re-starting the router and modem and maybe having a problem with the computer. I avoid touching things that are working.
That is built into the OS. You'd have to root the device in order to change it
