How to set the height of view to be the same as another view?

Hello, I'm begginer. In relative layout on image view which is aligned to the bottom of parent (relative layout) I want to put a button which would have height the same as image view. How can I do that? I can't make button to be child of image view. If I could, I'd do match_parent. I read that I can use frame layout to put view on view but I can't bottom align view when using it. Using Android Studio.

Camera App Interface

Which camera app do you recommend?

I really like this app except for the stupid screen overlay. I don't know why they changed it. The screen shot I posted doesn't look as bad as it actually is. Sometimes the overlay is really dark and it's very hard to see the whole picture.
well there are a lot of good camera app available in market like
  • Google Camera Port
  • A Better Camera
  • Camera FV-5.
  • Camera MX.
  • DSLR Camera Pro.
  • Footej Camera.
  • Manual Camera.
  • ProShot.

Imaging

Hi all,

I am new to Android Development. I have been looking at how to create a Bluetooth app to communicate with my Arduino and I have picked up a better understanding. My problem is now a little different and I am not sure where to start. I read in data and from my Arduino and I store it in an 2Darray in 128x128. I would like to should this image on the app. Convert each data to its corresponding color. For example if Array[0][0] were 5 I would like that pixel to be red and if it were 0 blue. Then I need to be able to display that changing image every time a new set of 128x128 information is read. Can anyone please point me in the direction I should be looking?

thank you.

Total Launcher

Just loaded it and set it up - looks great.
Don't know if this is the place for more specific question - is there a forum for this launcher?
1.) I find apps often give me an intermediate window where I again have to hit "launch application" - I'd love to make that go away and just have it launch.
2.) I'd love to be able to toggle off the visibility of the grid of plus signs.
Thanks, in any event!

Boostmobile lalsi675 sim unlock code help???

Welcome to Android Forums, darrinnpennydenney!
Need help unlock my phone dont have cash to pay ay body help meplease
Well, there is no magical code that can unlock all phones. :)

The only code that will unlock your phone is the Google account credentials currently associated with it. Are you its original owner? Or did you buy it used?

Please help if anybody can.

Moto G7 Supra vs Moto G7 Power

Question, are these the same phone?, Supra just for Cricket?
My wife is thinking about getting one, Cricket which is our career has the Supra for 149.00 Best Buy has the Power for 249.00.

The difference between the two is that the cricket version is sim locked and the best buy version is sim unlocked. This means you can use the best buy version with any GSM carrier.

Use tablet as handsfree for any Android Phone

If the car hs FM radio (most do), try one of the Bluetooth devices that plugs in the 12v outlet on the dash/centre console. I use one and they work very well. Mine has USB, SD card, 3.5mm Aux in and bluetooth handsfree and streaming. They're on EBay and Amazon for not much money.
Here are a few examples:

There are a lot of them, just search for 'Bluetooth Hands free' or 'Bluetooth car kit'

Honda Civic bluetooth connection to Samsung J1 Mini Prime

I have a Civic too, the factory radio is terrible, even as a radio, I'm in the UK and even BBC (national public radio) stations don't play very well (they show a solid signal on my home stereo, and el cheapo EBay pocket radio). I'm open to suggestions for a replacement radio (CD not important , but Bluetooth and SD Card playback is). I'm thinking of an Android 9 double DIN unit for a larger screen for GPS than my phone's 5.5 inch one.

help!!!! "USED COM.SAMSUNG.ANDROID.MESSAGING"

Welcome to Android Forums, marine0901!

I hope this doesn't offend you, but if you're dissecting operating system functions in an attempt at verifying your girlfriend's activity, you have much bigger problems than why a system call occurred at a given time. :)

Linux (including Android) is an elegant, efficient OS that functions gracefully for the user by doing things in the background all the time. Trying to match up every system call with a user-invoked activity is a waste of time.

If you're this lacking in trust with your girlfriend, maybe you're not right for each other. If her word isn't good enough for you, then she's probably a lying, cheating, deceitful monster, right? You'd be better off without her. :o Or, if she's actually a good person, back off--before she leaves you.

Contact Widget disappears a minute after creation

Alright then.
Methinks I have stumbled upon a solution for my issue.

The solution ?
The contacts that I choose to use with the Android "Contact", "Direct Dial" and Direct Message" widgets, need to be on the Android device itself rather than in the cloud somewhere.

By default, every contact I create when using my phone, defaults to the location of my Google account.

So, all I needed to do was ....
Create a new contact and choose "Device" as the location for it.
Then, reference this device based contact via the "Contact", "Direct Dial" or "Direct Message" widgets.
That's it.

I've tested the above using several device based contacts and none of them have disappeared for almost 6 hours now.

I hope my experience might be of some little help to others.

Micro SD Card Corrupt

Reformatting it and continuing to use it is pretty much a judgement call you need to make yourself. Not knowing any details about the card makes any random suggestions more of a problem -- if it's an older microSD card and a lower capacity there are performance issues tied to its general speed (read and mostly write) so getting a newer, faster card will be a benefit for your overall usage; but if it's a newer card you might want to think about that reformat/reuse option (the corruption matter could just be a one-off incident -- i.e. the default file system is FAT32 or exFAT, with FAT being a minimally stable and reliable file system even when used in typical situations. If the camera app in your phone is set up to use the microSD card as its default storage media, and you record a lot of video content that does stress the card a bit. So again, it's your call on this. Depending on the card's specs and how you use it need to be taken into consideration, and don't forget that microSD cards are relatively cheap (unless they're the higher capacity, faster class cards), so you need to weigh how much your data is worth to you. If you do upgrade to a newer card, don't skimp out and pick up a bargain-bin special, those cheap knock-offs are a good example of you get what you pay for.
