Oklahoma Schools Ordered To Teach The Bible

On a related note: Half of US Republicans say that it's important to be Christan to be truly American. As an American, a Republican, and a right-winger: I find that disturbing. While I apricate the values of Christianity: The idea that you must be Christan to be a real American is, itself, anti-American!

I'm a Republican because I support small government, because I'm for free trade and freedom. Not because I want to shove religion down everyone's throat. I'm saddened and embarrassed by this poll.

Google Refurbished Pixel Fold

Right now, if the Z Fold and the Google Pixel stay the same size format, I am pretty sure that my next phone would be a Google Pixel Fold.

Edit: Ok, scratch the idea of going Google Pixel Fold in the future. From what I have seen, the next Pixel Fold is supposed to be going Z Fold form factor. Not much sense buying the slightly inferior (GUI and Hardware) Pixel Fold to get the Z Fold format. Might as well just buy a Z Fold.

Samsung A7 tablet, I want data, please help

So if you have Unlimited everything they shouldn't be charging you for data and other stuff if you are using your phone as a ( Hotspot ) ?
typically the wireless telcos provide data plans that treat everything as data: phone calls, text, and internet; the hotspot is sometimes metered even if you have Unlimited, I know that Verizon and T-Mobile have a quiet policy of throttling after one crosses the threshold of 22GB/month of data, usually this happens when you spend many hours streaming movies or other video content on the phone. So this entails choking the bandwidth speed to make it run slower and cause you to not use the phone as much till next month begins. No extra charge, just a kind of pushing you off to where you can't watch a movie without it buffering constantly.

My Samsung Galaxy Note II is back baby!

My wife started a note craze at work place with the note 2. She was using it in the employee dinning room and some executive saw her and inquire about it. Which led to more inquiries and eventually multiple people had it. She used it till the note 7 came out and went back to after the note 7 fiasco :thumbsdowndroid:. In it's last six months we had purchased three batteries for it because the batteries were lasting two-four hours eventually it became a play phone for the daughter and I think was trade in towards the note 8 (which the wife didn't like)

Dual Sim phones..

i had a sim card and an esim on my z fold 4. one was t-mobile(sm card) and the other was from verizon(esim). i was in the middle of switching employers and they had different carriers. it worked great. i could easily switch my phone from sim card to esim easy with the sim manager found in the phone's settings.
You are exactly correct. I only had trouble inserting the SIM card in the tray. I took the tray to T Mobile and they put it in. Setup was simple and minimal. There were no issues connecting with email or other apps when using either SIM card and the phone looks and operates just like before, only with the ability to switch services with the simple to use SIM Manager. Now I feel ready for my trip.

Thanks all,

Danny

Samsung Broken Z Fold 4; what to do?

so i had an issue with my fold 4 where unfolded the screen goes black.....i guess that is the same issue you had. fortunately i have Best Buy Geek Squad Protection. they just sent me a refurbished one and i never had that issue again. i did had to take it in a bit later because the screen protector was peeling off from the crease. they were able to just repair that one though.

do you have a Samsung Experience Store near you? they have techs there that can help. not sure if they do repairs if you do not have their Samsung Care service or not. its worth looking into.

Z Fold 6

IT'S IN!!!!!!!
IT'S IN!!!!!!!
IT'S IN!!!!!!!

i just got it today. so much earlier than the 7/24/24 date. i am using smart switch to transfer my stuff over to the new phone. i have another 30 min or so before it is complete......can't wait to play with this thing. i am so glad it came in before the weekend. i also bought the s-pen case as well. it is super slick. they only had the grey option availabe. i would have much preferred the navy blue to match the color of my new phone. but for now grey actually looks really good. this is the 1st time that i really like a Samsung case.

i'll post some pics of it later as well as my thoughts on the device.

How To Replace Windows With Linux

Doesn't matter - I'm behind schedule so Microsoft has me for a few more months: but by the end of the year I hope to have everything on Linux and off Microsoft. Let those who didn't read the terms & conditions use Windows 11 with no idea how much they surrendered for the privilege: but I'll host our data right here on the NAS and use Kubuntu (because it will be easier on the Darling Bride). My laptop is already on Kubuntu and it feels like FREEDOM!
