There are likely reasons as to why this APK file is locked down so your efforts to 'hack' into it are in question.
Also, wording like 'recompile' and 'cloning' don't even apply to APK files so there's a basic definition issue here too. It would make everything more clear if you instead avoid using 'techie' words you've ran across and just state in what you are actually trying to do and why.

I am a licensed user of Titanium Backup (TB), am running V8.4.0.2 on my rooted Android device (which is running Android 10), and TB has run well for years - the only ‘issue’ being that the ‘Sync to Dropbox’ would never run as a scheduled task and I have had to run it manually.

However, when I recently tried to run ‘Sync to Dropbox’, it didn’t work. Based on some looking around, I found that ‘Erase the access token’ was the recommended fix. I did this, tried again, and had to login into Dropbox (and I do have the Dropbox app on my phone). Logging in was not an issue, seeing the files on Dropbox works just fine, but when I tried to run ‘Sync to Dropbox’, I see the message ‘Sorry, failed to obtain Dropbox access’.

I have asked Titanium Track LLC this question twice, but have not heard back from them. What on earth should I try?

Just last week a new brand of back seat kits we got in for installing onto golf cars had its entire user guide in Comic Sans. It's the hilariously out of place use that makes it the most hated font since Papyrus (and made immortal as satire in two in-game characters in Undertale)



But that 'modern font' is so hard to read, atrocious and is EVERYWHERE yet nobody hates it.

The stylus that did come with mine, only lasted a few days The rubber part kept falling part such a tiny little thing too. I was not too happy with the case after only lasting a few years though... Rubber..

I got a Galaxy S5 that actually destroys any SD card you place into it. I probably went through 3 before I discovered that. They'd all say 'SD CARD CORRUPT' (when they read fine in another device) and try formatting it just sits at 'formatting SD Card' forever. Take it out of the S5, try to use it in say a PC, it doesn't even know it's there. Any other phone just acts like it's not there either. Won't detect or read anymore. I stopped using SD cards in the S5 for that reason. Never figured out what caused it though.

Many modern Android phones will display a notification saying 'there's a problem with your SD card' and it sets it to read-only. This usually happens because the write-limit has been reached for the SD Card. They have a finite set of writes before they won't allow you to add any more, even if storage is available. That's why I don't trust SSDs in PCs. I doubt highly any SSD will outlive that Western Digital Caviar 80GB that's still working on my HP Pavilion PC from 2003.

That is unfortunate, but I'm not sure there are other, viable options in this instance. There was a corrupt config file buried in some obscure directory, and actually finding where and which one would involve a lot of time and effort.
But time will tell, let's hope that did solve the problem and it doesn't return.

I don't know what country you are in so don't know what would be a relevant recommendation. But do you think that a "cheap" screen (i.e. not a Samsung part) would be a good idea? Maybe if you can find a cheap phone you can swap screens (even if the phone isn't working, as long as the screen is)?

we get this question almost on a daily basis. and most of these kind of questions go unanswered with only members posting their best guess as to what it is.

you see there are millions of heart notification icons out for android. so unless it is a popular one, you will only get guesses from us. most heart icons are not dating apps. most have to do with health or fitness.

truly the best way to know is just ask the person who's phone this is on or somehow get a hold of the phone and look in the notifications to find out what it is. but i know that for some people this is not an option.

i have a security system and 8 dvr cameras and 8 foscam ip cameras. and these all work on my nvr and there dvr. i have the tinycam app on my phone and can see the cameras good at home or away. but i also have a bunch of ip cameras the i can see only on my phone if i use there app and there default UN and PW plus the default ports.

what i need to find is a security program for my pc that will let me not only see these other cameras but also let me get into them and change the defaults setting to the settings i need to use.

i was able to do that with the foscam ip cameras but i used there program for that, but the foscam program will not see these other ip cameras.

so does anyone happen to know of a ip camera program that will see any ip camera and let you get into there settings to change the defaults to what i need?

not sure how to help you other than to recommend doing a factory reset, changing your passwords and setting up 2-step verification on all accounts where possible.....that is if you are truly hacked.

hacking is not as simple as it used to be. it is much harder to do. someone can't just access your phone that easily. you or someone would have to download and install an application for remote access. so unless you handed the phone to somebody unsupervised, i doubt it is hacked.

now after a factory reset make sure that you are not installing all of the same apps you previously had. some apps do come with malware mostly in the form of adware. but there can be other malicious malware that can be installed as well.

everything on your phone is set up as applications and every process has an app associated with it......so 500 system apps is not surprising.

i can't explain all of the other stuff you posted. if the police are not alarmed, i would pay no heed to everything else.

i'm no shrink, but i think talking this out with a professional might help your state of mind. i'm not saying you are crazy or that i do not believe you. i'm just saying that it helps if you have someone professional to talk to. i'm a big advocate of taking care of your mental health. i just started using Better Help. it is not free, but well worth it.

If you want a new phone right away check Best Buy, Target, and Walmart for any unlocked Blu phones, some models are around $50 - $80.

But for a temp phone I'd get a used one as recommended above.

That's not much to go on.

What's different about the ones you can see and the ones you can't? Are they in different folders, and if so have you told Photos not to look in some folders (or do the folders have a hidden file called ".nomedia" in them which stops it looking)? Are the ones you can't see downloaded rather than taken with the camera, or things that have been deleted from the device, or...? Has it always been like this or have some images suddenly disappeared? Or gradually disappeared? Are the missing images in the internal storage or on a microSD card, and if they are on a card how long have you had it and where did you buy it from (because a lot of cheap cards are "fakes", which claim to have more space than they really have, and data stored on those are likely to be overwritten)? Can other gallery apps see them? Can you see them with your file browser?

Basically there's more than one possible reason why not all of your images might show, so the more information you can give the better the odds that someone can figure it out. Some of the questions above are just trying to narrow down the possibilities, others are asking about specific problems that might occur.

Predictive text is a feature of the keyboard app, not the operating system, so your options will depend on which keyboard app you use. Hence checking the keyboard app's settings is the best place to start.

As @ocnbrze says, wiping the keyboard app's data is the quickest way to make it forget everything - as long as you aren't using one which backs your data up to "the cloud", in which case you should make sure you wipe anything there too.

But if you are thinking about giving the phone to someone presumably you would factory reset the whole phone first(*)? In which case that will wipe anything it has learned from you and remove any link to your accounts (and delete the keyboard app itself if it isn't the one that comes with the phone). Therefore there would be not need to specifically clear the keyboard data.

Of course if you just mean lend the phone to someone for a few minutes then we're back to wiping the stored vocab. If there are specific words you don't want it to suggest most keyboards allow you to remove specific predictions (try a long press on the word when it comes up as a prediction). If there aren't too many that may be the best solution, since that usually stops it predicting them again, whereas if you just wipe everything many keyboard apps will immediately start learning from what you type once more.

(*) Remember to remove your Google account from the phone before resetting, otherwise the next owner will need your userid and password before they can use it.

The specs (memory and storage space) seem decent for your head unit. Can you access the standard android settings menu? Go to storage and clear the apps cache and any apps you want to remove would be good. That would speed it up a bit. Also looking at your specs it's only a dual core so it would be deemed as old unfortunately. So the processor might not be up to the task and installing / updating apps on it will slow it right down.

Yes, it is ok for me I'm just going to watch movies while traveling and I'll use google maps for locations! I bought the Xiaomi PAd 5 and it is so good, the display is nice and the performance is really smooth with snapdragon 860! For protection, I'm using a film screen guard from Gadgetshieldz because the display is big and getting unnecessary scratches!
