just keep in mind that this will cause wear and tear on the sd card. so be prepared for card failure, the older the card gets.....so backup your important stuff regularly. i would recommend you use google photos to backup your photos as well.

I checked under Files and sure enough, there was the supposedly "secret" stuff. I'm just glad it's only test material. What do I do now?

I just had this problem.
Disabling Bluetooth solved it for me.
My phone obviously thought it was connected to Bluetooth headset or something.

I haven't heard of this app, but if you can't uninstall it that's usually because of one of two reasons:

1) The app has been set as a "device admin". In this case you need to untick that setting before you can uninstall it. This should be in your device's Security settings somewhere.

2) The app was pre-installed by the manufacturer or carrier (i.e. it has been installed as a system app). In this case there is no way of uninstalling it without root. You may be able to disable it, which to all intents and purposes is the same, but it's also possible for the manufacturer/carrier to prevent that (and I have known manufacturers to do this for junk apps that they accepted money to install - yes, I'm looking at you Samsung!).

Hello guys! I'm building app that is meant to be a collection of links to articles and videos on some health and fitness related topics. The idea is that instead of searching trough many confusing information about diets and training programs on the Internet, the user will be provided with a menu with different categories, for instance Fitness, Nutrition, Men's health, Women's health etc. When the user chose a category, a screen with links to articles on the chosen topic will appear and he will be able to open them. The links will be open in Chrome Custom Tab inside the app. So, my question is am I violating some copyright policies or something if my app is full of third party links?

it will depend on what model s7 it is. if it is a snapdragon, its not that easy which is why we asked about the model of phone the op has.

Has anyone found a way to extend the active time for Tap to Speak (Voice Dictation from keyboard)?

Eight seconds or so of idle time shuts it off, which is irritating if you prefer not to babble.

It's almost like everything is built-in now. Speakers are better, screens are better, You almost don't even need a case anymore. What will be the new "Must Have" accessory?

I don't mean that, and I'm sorry for any confusion. What I do mean is how do I protect this Moto G FROM Motorola itself, and from other such "legitimate" attacks. We shouldn't have to go through all this just to keep our phones to ourselves.

on some phones you should have an option to forget password....other then that you will need to log in online somehow.

same problem. it used to work b/c I have some older urls on my homescreen. but I cannot replicate their settings and cannot add new ones. "add to homescreen" in chrome always confirms the action but no icon shows up. very strange
