Is there a way to fix this? I just switched back to the Galaxy after having an iphone for a few years and I'm already thinking about going back, I'm missing so many notifications because I always have my phone on my desk and it doesn't light up for facebook messenger, which I use way more frequently than regular text message.

I am an amateur in Android Development. I have started working with a Drawer layout and want to populate the drawer navigational links dynamically (from a JSON variable say vtxJSON). All the links will direct to the same Fragment (say R.id.nav_fragment) with separate Bundles to be passed for each link to the same fragment.

Till now I have created the Menu and directed the links successfully to the Fragment R.id.nav_fragment (with much appreciated help from this StackOverflow answer). Now I want to pass a set of values (preferably in Bundles) on each click and process them in the Fragment class and its View Model class.

If you have 2 different sim carriers / networks don't they need two radios constantly searching?

If you have a decent data allowance on one sim, and a tidy allowance on t'other can you swap your data source?

I'm considering one as a needed second phone, but also as a handy single device for both numbers when hiking or days out. Also my Nokia 7 Plus is having charging issues.

I'm thinking of a Nokia 5.3, dual sim only (cheap - good spec, 4000 battery) or a used Motorola. I'll probably use one sim most of the time. Dual Sims are very popular here, but I don't know anyone with one.

Hmm maybe not ut that seems a bit daft, can't see why they would restrict it in that way.

Any suggestions on a standalone camera app for it that may have more features? Obviously it will need to a bit more model specific now with all the extra lenses on the newer models..?

Yes, obviously there are ways to recover data from phone with a dead screen. If you have a backup of the data srored on phone then you don't have to worry as you can restore the stuffs from backup. But many of them don't have the backup of their essential data, at that time you should use a powerful recovery program. In an Android app, in a vertical linear layout I placed, from the top to the bottom: a multiline EditText in a ScroolView; a TextView in a ScrollView; and a Button. When the app starts the EditText gets the focus and the soft keyboard pops up. The app layout is collapsed (windowSoftInputMode = adjustResize) except for the Button (which is what I expect as user must have access to it).

I need the EditText to not collapse at any time, just like the Button.

How do I also prevent the EditText from collapsing when the soft keyboard pops up?

As I said, I'm not a developer. But I would guess that any updated support would need to come from the device manufacturer. But maybe the "classic" is EOL, discontinued, and no longer supported by the manufacturer?

Assuming your tablet is the problem could be a mistake. If it is an issue with your broadband connection or your mobile data (cellular) connection, it makes no difference what device you're using, streaming content will still be a matter of lots of buffering.

Indeed, these apps are sketchy and now totally worthless as of Android 7.0+.. Really 6.0 but there were a rare few with severely outdated security measures/patches that them apps hadghad through but now are utterly worthless with these newer OS versions. One sorry about that, but YES. You NEED a PC to:

• access bootloader mode, in which to
• use fastboot commands on PC and get device unlock code that Motorola website requires for bootloader unlock application.
• More fastboot commands on PC to unlock said bootloader, once is retrieved from email

Hold on, you're not done with the PC yet.. Lol.
Now that you have unlocked said bootloader, ya need to use more fastboot commands on PC to:

• install the TWRP recovery..

NOW you can boot the device into recovery and install Magisk Root and/or ROM.

its probably cheaper to get a burner phone (pay as you go) then to get it fixed.......just saying. or maybe look at ebay for phones. just be aware of buy blacklisted phones. these are phones that is blocked by the carrier due to most likely not paying the bills. they will not release the phone until the amount owed is payed. if you go the ebay route, my suggestion is to meet at a carrier store that you plan to use the future phone on. before paying ask to find out if the imei number is clean or not.
