Samsung photo gallery tags / keywords on images

Hi,

I take a a lot of photos for business and need to tag them to find. Samsung gallery has a great keyword tagging feature. Unfortunate it must store those keywords in a non-standard place because no other Android/windows app can see those tags. I need a way to tag photos that will be searchable on PC and with other apps. Sonnerie samsung
Does anybody know where those tags are stored and if there are other apps that search & tag in the same place?
Or does anyone else have this need and found an app that works for them?

Thanks,

How do I transfer apps from Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro to a micro sd card?

I have a Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro. I installed my memory card correctly (it's 128gb sandisk) and it will hold downloads and pictures, but I can't transfer any apps.
I'm not computer or phone savvy so please bear with me and give simple to understand answers and please be patient with me if I am slow to understand anything.
I tried to follow apps with the direction in this link: https://techshift.net/which-memory-card-is-suitable-for-samsung-galaxy-j7-pro/
It said near the top:
Tap the application you would like to move. Note: If necessary, slide the screen up to see more applications.
Tap “Storage.” Then, tap “CHANGE.”
Tap “SD card.” Then, tap “MOVE.”
I can tap the app and tap storage, but change isn't listed there. How can I get change to appear or do something to move the apps to my memory card? My phone is running out space and starting to struggle a bit due to not having enough with all the apps on there. Thanks.

Gmail.com..

I am not the first one who logs in and sees such a messy interferiance it is on the gmail.com's main screen, and I am trying the html version onto it, it does not load any images what so ever, now call me crazy, often I frequently check it on my moto edge and my Sammy tablet, it is okay, but there is no need that google corruperation, deteriations all desktop clients to have a massive screen that makes the background so transparent that you cannot see the bg image, and it really sucks trying to read the email.

FFS mine was so irritable tiny to read on the main menu, mind you I have everything pretty much default these days... I would not mind as much but... It is my "Business to give out to other business email" not like a business I am in, though to give to business to communication with me, such as the bowling leauge for instance. With my subconscious typing it up as the plain url, it gets a little bit insane.

Thought I would throw in my anger dome issues with gmail...

(solved) downloading files to my tablet

Hi all -

I'm new to all things Android, so please forgive what I'm sure is a very basic question.

I've been asked to develop an app for the Android platform. I've created the app using Qt and now want to deploy it to my tablet (a Galaxy Tab A). My tablet does appear in an Explorer window. I've tried drag-and-drop of my .apk file to the tablet, but I can't find the file on my tablet. I don't think the download actually occurred.

I looked at the instructions found here: https://support.google.com/android/answer/9064445?hl=en#zippy=,windows-computer

But when I plug in my tablet, I don't get the "Charging this device via USB" notification.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

React Native Android build failing with 'compileDebugJavaWithJavac' on several packages

I've been working in the same React Native project for months and recently the Android build has started failing. To my knowledge I haven't changed anything about my development environment and I haven't updated or changed any packages or dependencies that the project uses.

Task :@react-native-community_async-storage:compileDebugJavaWithJavac FAILED

Task :@react-native-community_datetimepicker:compileDebugJavaWithJavac FAILED

Task :@react-native-community_toolbar-android:compileDebugJavaWithJavac FAILED

Task :@sentry_react-native:compileDebugJavaWithJavac FAILED

Task :@react-native-community_netinfo:compileDebugJavaWithJavac FAILED

I've done all of the following that I found from other questions with a similar problem
  • Synced the project with gradle files in android studio
  • Ran gradlew clean in the android directory which does succeed, but the build still fails
  • Checked that android.useAndroidX and android.enableJetifier in the gradle.properties file are both true
  • Checked that I have implementation "com.facebook.react:react-native:+" in my build.gradle file. I tried changing it from + to the actual version of react native that I'm using but it made no difference.
I'm not an expert mobile developer by any means so I'm hoping that I'm missing something obvious, but any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Surface View not working on OnePlus Devices

Currently, I am working on Surface View in android. I am building a custom view that can render an incoming stream of data points on the canvas in a background thread. Hence, Surface View seems to be a good option to handle this specific use case.

I have implemented the custom view and it works perfectly fine. But, specifically on OnePlus devices, the screen is overdrawn with data points. I have uploaded a file in this thread to show how the behaviour looks. Though I would like to point out that, this is specific to all OnePlus models and this type of behaviour is not seen in any other device.

[APP] Riddle Tower - A riddle app inspired by GodTower and NotPron

Hello everyone
smile.png

Hopefully this post is not against the rules of the community. If something is off please let me know so i can remove it/fix it.

Riddle tower is a game i always wanted to make but having close to no free time it was really hard to start learning unity. The last 3 months i got some free time and now i published it at Google play store.

I understand this game is not for everyone but i am sure that everyone who played these kind of riddle games in the past will get a nostalgic feeling.

I am more than happy to listen to your feedback and also i can keep this thread as a small walkthrough to the game to help anyone who is stacked with some hints.

Have great day everyone.

Help APK installation error

Hi,

Hope someone will be able to help me,

I am trying to install an APK from one phone to a different phone but keep getting errors.
When I try on the phone it says app cant install app, but when I try in the command line with ADB it comes back with error about "Package has no signatures that match those in shared user android.uid.system; ignoring!"
Is there a way to bypass this error?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanking you in advanced.

Android NFCAdapter - Issue with AuthenticateSectorWithKeyA & Hex

Developing Android App in .net Maui. Having issues with NFCAdapter, specifically passing a specific sector key with AuthenticateSectorWithKeyA.
We print and encode our own Mifare 1K cards. Print software allows us to change the sector key A. I have tried multiple, and all ok, but need a specific key to work which is failing authentication.

No problem passing the following Keys and authenticating the sector with AuthenticateSectorWithKeyA.

byte[] keybytes = new byte[] { (byte)0xff, (byte)0xff, (byte)0xff, (byte)0xff, (byte)0xff, (byte)0xff };
OR
byte[] keybytes = new byte[] { (byte)0xAB, (byte)0xCD, (byte)0xEF, (byte)0x12, (byte)0x34, (byte)0x56 };

var auth = tag.AuthenticateSectorWithKeyA(0, keybytes);

All ok, var auth = true

But when I try the following Key it fails to authenticate. var auth = false.

byte[] keybytes = new byte[] { (byte)0x19, (byte)0x23, (byte)0x86, (byte)0x18, (byte)0x05, (byte)0x00 };

HEXString is 192386180500

Only thing I can see if the last two bytes have a zero prefix

SO
Tried:

byte[] keybytes = new byte[] { (byte)0xAB, (byte)0xCD, (byte)0xEF, (byte)0x12, (byte)0x34, (byte)0x56 };
Result: OK - var auth = True

Tried:

byte[] keybytes = new byte[] { (byte)0x19, (byte)0x23, (byte)0x86, (byte)0x18, (byte)0x05, (byte)0x00 };

Result: Fail - var auth = false

Use this key with non android RFID readers and all is ok. Need to use this key as we have produced thousands of RFID cards with this key A for sector 0.

Bit new to Hex and byte arrays, any help welcome.

Phone randomly goes into Fastboot mode

My Redmi note 9Thas been randomly going into fastboot mode. The various internet fixes dont work and quite often I have to leave it sometime 10 mins sometime 10 hours and then it randomly comes back to life. It may then go several days before it happens again but sometimes it will be 5 mins
It is frustrating and I would like to know why it is doing it. If I can work that out I may be able to get a fix. Any ideas please?

(Is it possible that it could act like this if it gets cold?)
