Actually if I were to go to AT&T and pick up their 4GB plan and kept the same services I have with verizon the price per month is actually lower. Considering I only used 0.227GB last month I might actually think about switching...if AT&T had service at my house! >:-(

And that's a huge IF - like a deal breaking if. :)

Did anyone notice we seem to be getting some more visits from the people wearing red? I wonder if the higher the post counts the more we see??
Just an observation I made.....carry on...........

probably the most active thread, there's likely a warning for that:cool:

Well considering the GNex is the most exciting thing on Android, and this thread is huge, if I were a Mod here, I would be interested to see what is going on.

Hahaha, it's nothing to worry about. Part of our "job" is to visit all sections to make sure things are running smoothly. I noticed Steven's 'announcement' earlier today, along with his current post count, and couldn't resist having a little fun. :)

Btw, I'll be grabbing some hands-on time with the Galaxy Nexus when it hits the streets over here. Not sure yet if I'll pick it up - yet another handset would be sheer self-indulgence - but I'm thinking about it.

Before I switched to Verizon I had good service everywhere with AT&T, just no 3G. Now it appears 3G is covering everywhere I would frequent. No 3G at my home was a big deal breaker for AT&T as well, Verizon had me covered, but it appears AT&T has that covered as well. Now the question is...who would get me covered with LTE first? Considering I live in the boondocks, LTE may not reach me with Verizon or AT&T till my next upgrade.

my rooted DInc is still running fine. i haven't flashed any roms on it or anything. do you lose everything when you flash a rom?

Also, my battery doesn't hold its charge for as long now but thats about it..

Same here with the OG pre-ordered Incredible. Except I busted the screen about a year ago and it got repaired under a SquareTrade warranty. The new screen over the last year has gathered so much dust and crap between the layers that I can't read it in sunlight at all. It even darkens the backlight because there's so much dust sandwiched between the layers. Didn't have that problem at all with the original Incredible screen (before the SLCD?).

Can't wait for the Nexus to arrive.

Not worried at all. I am (for the most part) not one to worry about my 'behavior' in here. :D
I actually think it's fun to see you guys pop in and out of different threads.

I, for one, am quite happy. I think Flash is horrible on a computer and an abomination on phones & tablets.

Except for a few moments playing with it, I've never had it installed on my OG Droid. As for my computers, I use Flash block extensions in Firefox & Crome that help make websites with Flash content much more usable.

I have to say I'd probably miss it - if only for the fact that it makes me batty when I try to view something on my ipad and can't because it can't run flash.

Yeah, but there was always a site or two that I really wished I had flash for back in my Omnia days. It was clunky yes, but if it is still supported on full size PCs, and our phones are getting bigger screens, and more capable processors, we will be missing out I am afraid if we want to view certain things.

im tempted to just walk into bestbuy today and pick up a SG2 for 149 and a free 100 dollar giftcard.

being on ATT probably have to import the stupid thing anyways.

Good Morning, I guess no news is.....um.....no news.

I have news:

My Verizon account manager stopped in for a visit yesterday to discuss our new contract and phone purchases.

On Thursday and Friday he will be at an internal Verizon event in Chicago where the employees are being shown the new holiday phones. He is going to fill me in next week because he knows we are waiting on the nexus but I imagine all the news should be on the web Thursday or Friday night.

Cheers!

Good morning, everyone! After reading Phandroid's article on the new Asus Prime tablet coming out, I've gotta say I'm very tempted to spend my SGN money on that, instead. That is one sweet looking tablet, and it will have ICS in early December!

Well, if you are doing a hands on you will obviously have to "pick it up" ;):p

What I don't understand is how they can be so absolutely certain of this. If the source code hasn't been released yet, and the phone that is the first to have ICS isn't out yet doesn't that mean that they are possibly setting themselves up to look quite silly?
