***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

Guys I have seen one of you give up hope, posting thoughts of a Dec release. I can promise you Matias knows whats going on. He may not know a day but if I had to be a betting man I would say he knows the contract Google signed with Verizon forces them to release it during the month of november (even if they have to keep store open late to 11:59 on the 30th like I joked). It could release in December but that would be a breach of that contract both companies signed. Verizon would have to pay a hefty fee so I hope if they do that it was really worth holding back a phone with no HW or SW issues to selll some more Rezounds/RAZRs.
Funny they are in bed with Moto, a company now owned by Google and are holding back one 'Google phone' to gain sales on another.
My mind is so at peace now knowing there is a date I can look at (30th) and every day that passes gets me closer. When it does come in advance of the 30th which is highly likely I can be pleasantly surprised.

Very nice. And thanks for your service. My cousin is in ROTC and wants Navy and one of my close friends is in. & I just found out they are starting a trial of women on subs.
 
Also lets give a warm welcome to Trophynuts who was promoted as well, and visits here often. And YankeedudeL, who does a lot of work in the Bionic thread, as well as being the definitive source for all info Costco.

Some of the other promotions are people I don't know personally, but I'm sure they'll all do great.

Oh I was also going to add... now that its in warehouses who wants to try ordering it earlythrough a CSR the way people did with the Rezound? I would say if you do it mention it by the model number SCH-i515 and not Galaxy Nexus. Either they would have no idea what you are talking about or they would know not to sell a Nexus. I bet telling them to check the inventory of the i515 would have more chance of going through.

OT: Sitting in a meeting earlier today and one of my co-workers makes a comment about how much gray hair I've gained over the past year...

Sigh, just what I needed today...
 
So that store rep I've been in contact with just texted me back. He said that he's been "digging" and I guess calling different people above him to see when the heck this thing is coming, and he can't find out anything.

I think that those who've been told a date or a specific time frame ("Oh, it will be here by the end of the week") haven't gotten it from Verizon corporate. Otherwise they would all be saying the same thing.

I think they just read the blogs like we do, or are told a date by people who read the blogs like we do.

There is nothing wrong with gray. It's distinguished looking.
(unless you do a comb over too - then it's just wrong all around)
 
I'm about to go into a meeting and I'm seriously considering taking a laptop with me just to keep up on this forum while it looks like I'm working. On the other hand, I want to get away from the thread because I know there will then be news posted.

Tried that this morning, although I didn't try using the model number. CSR said no Galaxy Nexus yet. :(
