How about factory resetting, SBF'ing and otherwise wiping you phone.

Can walk you through it if need be.

Change baseband radio firmware if all else fails.

I really could care less at this point. I was going to get a new phone anyway but I was thinking / hoping the Nexus was going to be out by now. I'm still going to checking the Nexus out when its finally released. I'm just glad that I now have until jan 15th to return it. I'll just be stuck using my work's blackberry until tomorrow

Welp, after checking out the Transformer Prime, I'll be selling my Xoom and laptop, and the Prime will be my laptop and tablet. So, December looks great for picking up the latest Android devices. :D
I'm seriously considering doing the same.

I've seen reviews of the camera that say the Nexus camera takes better pictures than the SGSII in certain situations. The daylight photos in that review were the same for both cameras - couldn't tell the difference. Plus, it absolutely crushed the SGSII in low light situations. Photos are all subjective anyway.

It's almost as if either the camera quality is a little bit variable. Either that, or it just takes a little more work to get the settings right. I have seen great demo pictures so not going to worry too much about it until I see for myself...

I don't think it's just mind over matter. Take a look:

The SGSII seems to be better saturated than the SGN.

Maybe...if the unit is actual bluish in color. It is more likely that it is gray like the GNex pic, and the GNex is actualy giving you better color reproduction :)

I also hate the persistent search window on top. I switch my homescreens alot, but I always want as little clutter as possible..

Yeh, it seems the more real-estate we get on a display, the more stuff gets inserted rather it be a phone, desktop display or a TV, always something.

As for the Google search bar, to many including myself the fact that it is NOT an option is the only gripe.

Lucky me I have mastered its use and found it to be a must have.

Still wish it was my option. At least it is a logo that does some sort of function.

Looks like someone within the AT&T - T-Mobil merger tried to smoke and mirror it to look like it created more jobs.

Lets see now, we have a city block with an AT&T and a T-Mobil store and they merge. Now we only need one store. And that's only the tip of the iceberg.

Exactly, it's the flash causing the bluish picture. Common on a lot of cell cameras with LED lighting.

Look at the leather on the headrest, it's supposed to be black. Which one is displaying it more accurately? You can also see the flare from the flash on the table with the SGS picture.

The GNex pictures do seem to be more color accurate.

What's this about a Phandroid SGN contest?

And does anyone know if Android had an actual working word processor that could replace MS Word? I'd love to have the TP replace my laptop, but I use that thing for everything work related; I don't even have a work computer.

Sorry I haven't been paying attention much with family for thanksgiving so I probably missed it but...

Did anyone see that Droid Life and BGR (courtesy of Droid Life) are reporting a 12/8 launch date for the Galaxy Nexus?

Let the countdown begin!

Our meal is already done, we were treated to the local buffet spot for their thanksgiving buffet (jbdan, was RJs in case you didn't guess) by my wife's grandparents. Food is good, and no clean up. Now heading home for some family time. Probably go out back and throw the football with my son.

RJ's yeah! Yum!

Threw the football too, been a great day can barely hold me eyes open what was in that bird I ate today??! :)

Hope everyone had a wonderful day and has a relaxing evening.

Yes, but TMobile is also not going to make it either (my opinion). Deutche Telekom was planning on dumping the scraps on AT&T. As the article states, they don't really have a plan B.

Sprint may pick them up, but it certainly wouldn't be valued anywhere near as much as with AT&T. Plus Sprint would have to deal with different technologies, but they've done that before with Nextel (iDen).

It will be interesting to see everything pan out. It's also not quite a done deal either. AT&T has to pay T-Mobile a heafty sum if the deal fails. Also, there may be a splitting up of the deal similar to how Mobile Oil was split and sold off when Exxon bought them.

Looking at that last camera comparison even though I respect the efforts and intentions of all the comparison OP's & Blogs, but I cannot help but I laugh and I scoff.

Rest assured I will be conducting my own comparison testing between the GN and others on equal ground and in a way to assure its accuracy and will post for it to be scrutinized.

Nothing on any of the OP's of some of the comparisons but I see testing flaws and completely opposite results between sources.

Just to name one issue, one should not conduct testing hand held.

I cannot wait. I am a pixel peeper from way back.

google docs has gotten pretty good, but their is also quick office in the market as well. either of those should be able to replace the microsoft office programs with little learning curve.

They don't have quick office pro for tablet use?

Easy peazy catching up today. Steven thx for sharing sounds like your a very adored man.

Another touching story antimony we have 41 family members we eat with on this day and the same table was set for my 2nd cousins it was cool although I'm getting old!

Ok sappy set aside :) I see engadget reviewed the GN. I don't put much in the camera comparo I'll wait till some of us get it and test before I judge. Been an enthusiast shooter for too long and engadget is very iBias. Thx for the headsup btw anti. The GN is so sexy!

/burpppp/ can't get up from couch ....
