Root [ROM] GingerSteem Extreme for LG Esteem MS910

Nice rom.

One problem though. my market keeps saying all the apps are incompatible with my device now. tried clearing market cache and data, but no fix. :/
 
Hi guys !! First of all a very big thanks devs over here for the awesome work they do.:D
Second, i want to flash this rom but i wanna know that what all does wipe data removes.. does it remove my text msgs, contacts, apps nd othr stuff on internal sd??:confused:
I would really appreciate if someone puts some light on this.. Thank you

Wipe data pretty much deletes everything. i dont think it wipes your internal memory though. it deletes apps, texts, contacts, and settings.
just back up your stuff if your rooted. you wont lose anything.
 
has anyone played around with the ROM toolbox ?
just say i want to change the, battery icon, umm nothing bad is going to happen right? same with the startup animation and so forth ?

yeah its alright. tried it myself. just be cautious and back up ure phone just incase.
 
back up via recovery? or using the rom toolbox? lol
(haha as u can see, im not confident, but im learning as i ask questions around!)

well i just backed it up using cwm. :p when i changed the icons, status bar color, animation, and such nothing bad happened. and my phone looks amazing now. :)

indeed... my phone is running smokely fastttttttttttttttt! No lag at all. I can even open lots of apps and leave them at the background running... As smooth as iOS.

This update works better. Now my phone can manage 1900 MHz without problems (with Esteemed could go only to 1708 MHZ) Love theme and performance. This phone is 200% better than the phone I bought from Metro 1
 
Sorry for the dumb question guys once I installed the custom rom can I use any launchers I want?
