Any Gun owners out there?

Ok. Well, that's YOUR wife. Surely you don't expect that everyone in the world should have as little trouble?

:)

There's a lot that goes into it, more than I really care to explain or debate - but the bottom line is that I would rather help take the edge off for her to shoot reliably WHILE she works on her form. She's worked hard, with me, with trainers, etc, and shes doing everything as right as she can. She just doesn't have the grip for it yet. So, I aim to help a little with a lighter spring so she's not frustrated all the time. It's quite an accepted practice and something we would like to try. Hope it works.

Now, off to bed while I debate firing up a forum on the side for this!

G17 gen 4 here.

I just got a M&P22 and the magazine absolutely tears up my thumb after a while. I never knew these existed! Need to find one now. Thanks

I would love a gun section.

I don't have a Glock, my daily carry is a Ruger LC9. Great gun. Small enough to easily conceal with my IWB holster or in my pocket, plus I've never had a single problem with any type of ammo I've shot. I have 3 other handguns also, but non are Glocks.

My next gun BTW will be a Coonan Classic .357. Might be hard to CC, but man that is a beautiful gun that packs some power

I have a Glock 17 9mm.
Clip holds 17 shells. The clip says "Restricted government use only".
But there are no rules about max capacity in MO. (unlike California and New York where you can only have 10 bullet clips).
I bought it from a police officer who owns a gun shop on the side.

You bet. :)

You'll find you can develop a really easy rhythm with it, push down, drop in round, relax to seat, push down, drop in round, lather, rinse repeat, for the double-stack models.

That's how it was for me. For a while, I used as I did out of the box - each round its own deal. Then, I just trusted the tool - and then it was just a pleasure.

You'll also like how good groups are at the end of a shooting day once you've removed that hand strain from fighting your magazine spring. :)

(PS - And unless you're wearing gloves, yeah, all rounds get your prints, lmbo!!)

They're like 7 to 10 bucks on Amazon, for you reloaders, Dillon carries them for $8, and you may find them locally.

They make them for lots of mag styles - even the venerable 10/22! :)

^Nice!

I'd used something else for the AR-15 and Mini-14... dang! I'd forgotten about that! :p :D

I need to see if Mr. Google is my friend.

At a glance, that Lula looks pretty righteous - nagging at me, is that what I'd used was somehow more simplistic. (No, not the stripper clips jazz :p)

You can't get much simpler, a round is inserted, the toggle moved back, a round inserted, the toggle moved forward, repeat 30 times (or more, if you are lucky)!:D

Ah! I see now.

My Glocks came with a similar device, I must say it makes life easier at the range, that's for sure!

Gloves are good. Whether you're a professional assassin (yes, I watch too many procedural cop shows) or just want to keep your brass nice and shiny. :)

I'm not a Glock owner, but my introduction to the brand was the fear-mongering about the "plastic gun" that could "go right through metal detectors". Now it's one of the most trusted sidearms in America! Looking back it's hard to imagine how so many people could be sucked into the alarmist nonsense. And yet here we are again with the "print your own AR-15" nonsense.

I can't say that I'm a Glock owner. But as someone who learned to shoot back when the only auitoloader most people would bet their lives on was the Colt 1911, I gotta respect the reputation it has earned itself. (<-- no pun intended ;))

How the world did I ever miss this thread??

G23 and Dillon Square D reloader in fortay. :smokingsomb:

Got about 6k posts over at Glocktalk. It was my home away from home until I met AF.

id.glock.com is now open for public for those interested..

To be clear - this is a feature/site of Glock's, just a subdomain of their glock.com site. You can upload pictures of your guns for your "vault", keep track of rounds shot, cleanings, upload target pictures, etc.

Statistics.. polls, earn points.. yada yada.

Nothing to do with me. Silly EarlyMon!
