And the Red Sox beat the Yankees. The battle for last place is epic right now because the Yankees are winning it!
That alone makes the entire season worth watching.

KC lost and so did the Padres but Boston and the Dodgers won. Not a bad day at all.

today? we played a double header yesterday to avoid playing today where Hilary is lurking up to us here in LA.
Boston lost, KC well on their way to a loss, and SD looking solid.
KC tied up their game in the top of the 8th. I guess there is always a chance to win.
I knew better but I can't help but hope sometimes. KC allowed a two run walk off in the bottom of the 9th.
So, for my (Special) birthday, Mrs got me ticket to see the Yankees. We live in another state. I have jerseys and caps for both teams. I'm thinking of going with the home team cap and jersey in protest for a colossal season of mismanagement. Understand I was a diehard Yankees fan years ago. Ever since the boss (Steinbrenner) passed away, winning wasn't the goal, making as much money as possible became the goal and it shows.

I hate the Little League-esque games but a win against the cheaters is always enjoyable!
played a doubleheader and won both games.......up next.....Boston on Friday.
this will be Mookie Betts first game in Boston, since he was traded to the Dodgers in 2020. its going to be an emotional one for him as Boston was the team that first drafted him and made his first major league appearance for.
I'm still salty!
