Well the battery isn't all that great but I use CPU tuner and set triggers for certain situations when to save battery and stuff lasts me about 1 day and change but its pretty awesome tho

One question I'm thinking of getting a 32 gig SD card how do I go about putting lots more ram into this phone using that? Or is there sum other method?
 
What if I added transparency to the skinnyhalo status bar? would y'all like it?

Jadakiss, would you mind checking to see if tethering works on your phone? If it doesn't work then I'll be able to narrow down where the issue is coming from.
 
Umm went back on my phone to tether and to my knowledge there is no option for tethering :confused:
Should I download the app for it I thought tethering would be first thing for skinny halo..

Hey guys, I have good and bad news. First of, I am on Skinny and using Public Mobile and everything works fine (awesome rom btw). The good one is I have Wifi tethering and its working like its should be (to other phones). The bad one is it didn't work with my laptop ( pages cant load but oddly enough google searches work but not going to google.com) but at least I could connect to my hotspot with WiFi and USB. Its maybe my laptop doing weird things but so I'll try in another if i have a chance. The name of the app on the playstore is WiFi HotSpot/WiFi Tether.

PS: If you already know that its working only with other phone than sorry to give you uneeded info.

the requirements to build android from source are greatly over stated. Using others devs work I was able to build cm10 for the force with a single core celeron and two gigs of ram lol

God damn well the problem is build times when it comes to that. Sone people can build in 30 minutes

Yeah it did take better than an hour to build. I'm saving up to build a monster PC, but my get me by laptop is doing its job for now.

Do you know if anyone has had tethering issues with other roms? No one has said anything on the DS thread, and I can no longer personally test since I deactivated it.

Anyone running Halo with this issue - Are you using anything to switch your user agent on your PC? If not chrome and Firefox have addons that allow you to switch your user agent. Set it up to report your browser as android 2.3, and that may resolve the issue.
 
I am testing skinny halo now. I have become addicted to a game that wont run on any rom we have very good yet:mad:. Although I seen the app in Jadakiss screen shots, and he said skinny halo with certain settings had everything running perfect.:D Hmmm, we shall soon see:p

Yeah it was weird I had it at 1.8ghz and for w while things went smoothly but after awhile things slower down then I went to 1.4 and things ran even more smooth!
 
I'll change the default values to 1.4... I don't think I'll ever be able to fix tethering in the menu, so I think I'll have to remove it from settings and put in an app to do it. Then if I can later on, I'll fix it how it should be. Everything else seems to work as it should so at least I know its only one issue left to get out.

Pretty soon, I'm going to try to get the Moto G from Boost and try to learn to do AOSP (I'm trying to learn from Team Osiris, and I'm actually learning quite a bit :)). When I do I'll come back and probably have a few surprises for y'all :D
