So i haven't seen any mention of this but slideshows don't work on noob. Its not really a big issue since saving them to your phone lets you see the picture but thought I'd give the heads up
Are you referring to the quick pik slideshows? Cuz I've used them with no issues.

i have had this mms issue alot as well but then again i get 15-kbs avg so its hard to get mms out in columbus anyways but they still used to go through and my wife has a warp none rooted hers does the same thing its a network problem that want go away because boost sucks but you get what you pay for lol anyways 61009 is the prl my phone came with(straight talk is haveing same problem dont know if thats something relative)
No like for example my girl sent me a few pics via text and they were slideshows. So when i clicke the play it wouldnt play or do anything just take me back to the text message that she sent.
Its not a big issue since i can just save the attachment and view the pictures on quickpic but i thought i'd mention it lol

Just dropping in to say Mr.Bobo, you sir, have done fantastic work with the nOOb ROM series. I always flash this when I need something that just plain works. I switch ROM's more than most here, mainly cause I love to change things up, and I love tinkering with my Warp. Like I said though, when real life interferes with my phone fun time, and business is hectic I flash nOOb because I know I'll have no issues whatsoever. Great work old friend! Can't wait to see what you do next.

What apn info did you add exactly... As i can manually add it in through gosms directly... And would love to try that and see if it changes anything.

I have to agree, after testing most all on here, its the BOMB....
Seems like one thing or the other doesnt work on other roms and I would switch to something with the OC kernal and then switch back to noob lol.
But now this thing ROCKS and loving the 1.7 OC lol....:hahaha::dancing2:

I installed this rom for a friend about 2 to 3 weeks ago and she's telling me her phone is starting to freeze and gets slow, id there anything I can do for those?

Some people NEVER turn the thing off, just charge it up day after day, the phone needs rebooted once in a while.

Holo launcher has been doing that to me lately... i'm thinking of changing launchers...

I was wondering about the launcher after the last update it got. I had a few FC'S but I put it down to my own speed flipping and fast closing out of apps.

I forgot about changing launchers, I use Nemus launcher. I want to try a new one.

reboot recovery, wipe cache and dalvik, always a first thing to try.
After that, I would look at the apps that are installed and running on boot, you can go into settings/applications/running applications to see what's running, generally one of those is the culprit, n00b is smooth and trimmed down pretty well on it's own, user apps usually have been the issue for me when I find things running badly..
the other day I was seeing my battery draining a lot more that normal and found it was a combination of facebook and an email app I was playing with updating too frequently. I set facebook to only update when I open it and disabled the email app and my battery life came back to normal.
For the system bogging down on my end a wipe of both cache/dalvik every month or two seems to keep me running smooth.

I was having the same issues as a lot of people with the MMS for a couple of days. I erased everything, went back to stuck for at least 24 hours and then reflash N00b VI, restart the phone and then installed ICS theme and fix permission. Finally reboot add my account and perfect no more issues. Also didn't change the splash screen or boot animation this time.

there is a second image but it's part of the kernel, so there isn't an easy way to change that short of flashing a modified kernel packed with a new image, on the stock setup the first and second boot images matched so it looked like just one image.
My VII will include the 1.8 kernel with a splash to match the n00b splash.

VII is close, I have been playing with it for a while now but haven't completely settled on what I want to include. I will be releasing it as an update zip so no reflashing/reloading will be required.
